They are an amateur team. To go backwards after getting the KoM in Paris-Nice in your early 20s is something special.0

I see Fuji Servetto have a new sponsor, a Swiss healthcare manufacturer...no, calm down, Footon are best known for their insoles. Apparently.
They've also submitted their case to carry on as ProTour team, better get signing some (decent) riders then.0 -
Who said Astana should have signed another rider from Fuji, rather than DDLF?
Well, according to Spanish press Cobo to Astana and Navarro to Team Sky."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Michele Merlo joins Footon - Servetto, after turning down an offer from Team Sky
Hmmm, now okay he might not have been a first choice sprinter, but I'd have thought as a career move Sky >>>> Footon, so I guess €€€ may be the reasoning. Merlo's a thoroughly nice guy though, doesn't speak a word of English though, so perhaps he just didn't understand Sky's offer.

makes you just wonder if the team has a clue. Hiring the team doc who "failed" to spot several of his riders engaged in industrial strength doping schemes is not something any team should think about. What next, a blind man as the team bus driver?0 -
Seen nothing to confirm Cobo. Gasparotto has gone quite.
For the latest Astana signing "rumour".

I've just seen that on Twitter. Obviously just doesn't like Sky then, perhaps they've cut him off or something.0 -

You state this as a fact, rather than an opinion......again.
After his fall and this year, Pereiro may not be the force he once was."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Blazing I suggeast you pay very particular attention to what you write. When I happen to come across a post by you and I detect that you are writting something is fact rather than opinion, I will jump on you. Not because I care, rather because your above comment in highly unecessary.
You can all try and goad me, put me down or whatever else makes your lives more interesting but let me tell you that you will succeed in nothing other than making me feel sorry for you, sitting here laughing at you.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Whatever.
Most of your comments are totally unecessary, unless one is a fan of arrogance.
I won't be wasting my time feeling sorry for you, even thought I've read the BBox Colnago thread."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Look Mr Fighter, while it's not asked for I'd like to give you some advice
1. From what I can gather you're fairly young, early twenties. When I was that age I thought I knew everything. Now at 37 I know I know nothing, even though I know twice as much as I did then.
2. The one piece of advice I give to younger guys is - "Don't be an A-hole". If you treat people well they will treat you well in return. If you repeatedly call people stupid and have a go at them, people will pick up on this and dislike you, even if you're right. Every weekend, I have choice of parties to go to - not because I'm a wonderful personality, but because I''m a friendly person, and people like me.
3. When you get older and more mature, you will understand that the people who don't agree with you are the best to be with, because that's how you learn. Nobody's right all the time. Have some humility and become a better person. At the moment you come across as a bit of a d1ck
4. If I've misjudged this, and you're meant to be some internet 'character', at least be funny like Vino.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Your advice may be useful if I was the instigator but in the vast majority of cases I am not. I simply reply to comments about me or what I've said.
For instance, the above:
Blazing wrote: You state this as a fact, rather than an opinion......again.
Maybe you should direct your ire at the members who try to have a go at me.
As I have previously said, if members want to make silly/rude/unecessary/etc comments then they should be prepared to get a reply that they wont like. Maybe because I don't swear or abuse etc you don't feel overly comfortable.Contador is the Greatest0 -
frenchfighter wrote:Pereiro is in demand by Caisse Footon-Servetto and Quick Step. Should he join QS, this would favour Contador should he move there.
An opinion stated as a fact.
Now, excuse my addition.frenchfighter wrote:Pereiro is in demand by Caisse Footon-Servetto and Quick Step. Should he join QS, I think this would favour Contador should he move there.
Two little words added and we have an opinion stated as an opinion.
One comes across as patronising and arrogant. The other encourages debate.
You call my observation, rude, OK, but it is my opinion, not necessarily a fact.
I'm too long in the tooth to not find being patronised, rude, too.
If you can't see that, then never mind, we'll agree to disagree and not respond.
I'm easy, either way.
However, the fact remains, that there is a question mark over Oscar Pereiro's form."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
I didn't say you were rude.
Seriously though, if you get so riled up about me saying something without putting 'I think' then that is a bit much. It pretty much goes without saying that it is my opinion and you should take it as such.
I wont discuss it anymore as it is ridiculous.Contador is the Greatest0 -
