Yeah, I know that, but their new signings for next year are hilariously new, new, new levels of evil. Like pantomime villain we-don't-give-a-shit-evil.

Maybe ASO have bunged them a big wad of cash and said "give us a chance to deselect you next year and we'll make it worth your while" :D

    Confirmed.
The strong rider Alexandre Kolobnev, recently silver medal at World Championship 2009 in Mendrisio (CH) signed a two years contract with the Andrei Tchmil Team. Kolobnev will be another strong cyclist for the one-day race classic.

I quite like Kolobnev, think he'll produce the results now he's racing for the Mother country.
  • I have been very happy to be a part of Team Saxo Bank and the time on the team has developed my talent to a higher level. I am grateful that Bjarne gives me the opportunity to accept an offer from a team where I will have a leading role.
    Kolobnev
  • Jaroslaw Marycz from the Italian Team Fidibc.com and Lucas Sebastian Haedo (the other Haedo's brother) to join SaxoBank.

Sicard who has moved to Euskaltel will debut in Santos Tour. Looking forward to following him throughout next year.

  • Quick Step may sign trackie Iljo Keisse.

Rassmussen nearly signed with AMPO Murcia but apparently they are in serious trouble as AMPO need to sign something or other with the UCI today or the team will get disbanded. The UCI have given the all clear to sign him his biological passport in order.

  • Mentioned in another thread but to keep this one up to date:

Kreuziger in verbal talks with Omega-Lotto who are prepared to buy him out of Liquigas.

Would be a great move for him as it gives him sole leadership. A great move for Omega as it gives them a GC hitter. A good move for the fans as it will mean another competitive team in the Grand Tours.

But a bad move for Jurgen Van Den Broeck who would see his GC ambitions curbed by Kreuziger's arrival.
  • Yes that is true to an extent. I really liked VDB this year and he is an exciting prospect for the coming years. They might be able to work well together although it wouldn't be too fair on VDB if RK took over everything given he is older by about three years and been a pro for a couple more than RK and hasn't had the opportunity with Evans in the picture. That being said, RK is probably a better bet for GT podium in the coming years than VDB.

Definitely. I think Kreuziger has far more ability than Van Den Broeck and he wins races, but he's not Belgian so if he does move to Omega-Lottohe'll need to understand that sometimes this will work against him.

Van Den Broeck will probably be #1 in the Giro and then play superdom for the Tour if Kruezinger turns up.
Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.
