Armstrong slower than chavanel, millar and evans.
Looks like he started too fast. Inexperience, eh?

    Contador faster than cancellara.. easy
it was a downhill section and because he's got a more aerodynamic position which he has worked on for two years now with the help of application of windtunnel
Also they worked out that not moving the legs meant the air wasn't creating as many vortices so he free wheeled down to the first checkpoint.. didn't you notice.
He'll be lots ahead by second checkpoint because of the uphill
and he'll be the winner in the end because he conserved energy by freewheeling in the first section.
... At this rate I'm going to take a flutter on AC beating MC in the bunch sprint on the Champs Elysee...

BTW - where are the Schlecks. Or is this Astana TV?

Frank 1:23 down on Wiggo at 25k

Well, you know that they are 2nd / 3rd in the Tour; you reckon they could get a camera on one of them FFS.

You realize the pictures are all from the French/ASO. The tv stations, ITV, Eurosport, Versus have no control over what they're shown.

Andy only 52 secs down though

Thanks for updates. I've had a few Setllas now, but seriously I haven't seen any footage of Andy or Frank since I can't remember.

Are you guys seeing any coverage of them??

We have this conversation about Contador every time he puts in a good TT performance. Which, for someone who allegedly can't TT, is remarkably often.

I can see plenty of Andy Schleck, but less of Frank.

Don't make fun of the elderly, man. You'll be an OAP one day too.

Wiggins also seemed to back off before the climb, same as Contador.

    Interesting

Wiggins faded big in the last 3rd. Shame... great effort though.

I'm glad that the Schlecks will have to attack on Ventoux. Then we'll get to see just how strong LA is.

Yep, the mountain has helped Andy a bit. He's 47 seconds back at next time check, so he caught up some.

David Millar was faster than Wiggins in the end. A bit dissapointed :-(

I agree, but we get the same comments each time. Usually when he beats Wiggo...
