Garmin lose three, while we have a Lance love in at the ramp."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0
-
Pate, Farrar and Dean all dropped for Garmin. Gotta say the inclusion of Pate was surprising for me.

Garmin 25km from the finish with five riders left. What happened?0
-
Sherwin : "it's a strange Tour de France this year". Doesn't he say that every year?0
-
They best keep it together! I bet that was Wiggo getting over excited..0
-
Astana off - Lance gets big cheer.0

What the heck is going on witth Garmin?! They're normally TTT masters! Personally, I blame the car. Apparently a couple of the drops occurred when slotting to the back and the rider mis-calculated how many guys back to drop and dropped too far back, giving a bike's length between them and they couldn't catch it again. Why didn't the car tell them when to drop back?0

Milram 9th fastest 1.25 downYou live and learn. At any rate, you live0

when u lose so many, you'll always end up waiting for someone... damn my PTP!!0
-
BTW, did anyone notice during Astana's start that Contador was the sloppiest at getting in tto line? He left a bike length between him and lance and had to bike hard to get back up there. Mentally, I think he's struggling this year.0

Garmin fastest at halfway.0
-
Garmin fastest - even with 5 men at the intermediate. :shock:0

Doubt it's enough to win the stage but Garmin's top 5 recovered well to get a good time at last check.0

The course is surprisingly narrow. Garmin are 11 seconds up on Liquigas.0

Chinny draggin Saxo along!0
-
OOOH, narrow escape for Schleck Jr at Bouygues Bend.0
-
You'd think that Garmin may suffer from that later on. Leading at the second time check with only three to come through.
With a dangerous course maybe the top teams may not push it quite to the limit in order to make sure they are all there for another day?0 -
nearly split them0

Ryder Hysdale (sp?) not taking many turns for garminYou live and learn. At any rate, you live0
