They need to beat Garmin by 18 seconds or more. Currently they're only 17 seconds ahead so they need to speed up in this last section or Cancellara will hold on.

I can. I drove a thousand miles to watch him win on Alpe d'huez in 2004! Love that guy :lol:

That's like saying 'I know these two twins.'

Oh dear, the Lanceophobes are going to be crying tonight!
No they're not, the more he wins the more reasons they find to hate him

The biggest surprise today (for me) is how sloppy Contador is in the line. Weird for a guy that's gotten so good in the TTT. But it makes me believe yesterday's claim that he caused the gap.

Going O/T but i saw the highlights this morning and when the gap first started there was an Astana rider who pulled off and looked round at another Astana rider. Whether a slight gap was already there and the guy couldnt close it i dont know.
  • I think Fabian will hold on by 2-3 seconds.

Down to five. This is a cliffhanger. Fanboies and sceptics alike will be chewing their fingernails.

Looking at the splits it was really impressive for the Garmin 4 (+1) in the last quarter - they were still puilling out gaps on Liquigas and Cloumbia despite having lost men so early.

Did you guys in the UK see that? A bodyguard started to attack a cameraman and Lance yelled out, "Hey, no!" And waved the bodyguard off, leaving the cameraman alone. Funnny.
