If Bertie has any sense, he will start soft pedalling round about now.

How many second places have Garmin had this season?

    Astana versus Cancellara.

Surely Lance in yellow. Will AC congratulate him?!

Wonder if Columbia now regret all the work they did on Stage 3?

I doubt it. Winning sprints stages is what they're all about.

I'll secretly be quite pleased for Armstrong if they do it. Contador appears to have been well protected...

Do you really believe that? To win the TDF, Bertie's gonna have a better chance if he can shrink the number of guys he has to beat. Even if he helps Lance, he's also helping himself. And there's only 19 seconds between him and Lance.

And as Sastre showed last year, even having your teammate in yellow doesn't mean you can't ride for it.

And how is that going to help him if he is going for the overall GC, he should be looking to put as much time between him and his other rivals and forgetting about Armstrong just now.

Couldn't see Millar in the 5 for Garmin. Was be dropped early on with the others?

Yep, Cancellara just rode his team into the top two (soon to be top 3) there.

Astana need to finish in 46:28 to get Armstrong in yellow.

I think that was O'Grady getting shelled out.

Armstrong is virtually doing a solo TT, he's dragging round his whole team with some very long pulls.

Go all out and win yesterday or save yourself then go all out and still lose today. No way they could match Astana or Garmin in the TTT.

I know what I would have done if I were Columbia.

Green jersey as well. Yesterday has given Cav a huge cushion against most of the sprinters.

If Armstrong is in yellow, AC's overall chances will be more even more damaged because he'll be put on the Ego's leash.

I'd rather lose 10 or 15 seconds to Evans, the Schlecks etc, than see Armstrong gloating in yellow.

Yeah, I'm impressed. He was ok in the mountains at the end of the Giro but his TT's have been oddly weak this year. But today, he's riding out of his mind for the team here.

O'Grady went earlier than that. I'm sure Schleck got shelled with maybe 200 metres to go. Could be wrong, though.

It's going to be really close I think.

Armstrong could be yellow jersey by a second or two, it's that close.

The biggest surprise today (for me) is how sloppy Contador is in the line. Weird for a guy that's gotten so good in the TTT. But it makes me believe yesterday's claim that he caused the gap.

Oh dear, the Lanceophobes are going to be crying tonight!
