I'll see what's involved in changing the default sort to ASC. The default is Desc, which clearly isn't much use in this situation.

Ta. FWIW if you click on it twice you get to Asc, it's just a pain.

Yeah that's how the gridview control works - you get a toggle sort thrown in for free, but changing it involves delving in to make changes under the hood, which is something I thought I could get away with. Clearly not tho. :)

    No. Never. Not ever. Really.

Good - and your work is still appreciated.

And I hope you're also happy you've created stats junkies out of all of us :P

Tssk. Another 0.1 miles and you'd have been another place higher. What were you thinking...?

I would have made it had I left from the back of the house like usual instead of the front :(

Have you got cookies enabled? TBH the Cuml Gap col is (also) a bit of a beta test to see how many issues arise with cookies, if & when we have to go down the route of having a log-in.

    Hi CiB

A year or so ago I wrote my own site to log my swimming, cycling and running stats… http://www.howfarhowfast.co.uk or view screenshots here
Since getting a Garmin for Christmas I’ve mainly been using the Garmin connect site instead.

Anyway my point is that I’ve already written a full set of login and account maintenance pages… so rather than spending time doing your own, I am happy to share what I have already done. It would only need the leader board (about a 3 beer evening task) to recreate the functionality of the SCS site, if you think a bit of community development is worthwhile...

I also already have some nice graphing functionality, the ability to add personal targets and events, and each user can choose whether he or she wants to work in miles or kms

The only problem is that we would all then be competing on three fronts – swimming, cycling and running, it could be too much for some people ;)

Is that 27.8 miles today your whole commuting distance for the day or just the morning leg?

    I'm a youngster on an Aluminium, 41 is young isn't it :D

But then again, I'm only a lightweight in 26th place - I'll be lucky to stay in the top 30.

How many cycling hours do you guys average a week?
