I always take it easy down there because cars like to cut the corner and then there's the Barclays Walk of Doom as everyone piles between 5NC and Cabot Place shops. Honest guv!

WVM decides he absolutely must squeeze past me on the approach to a traffic island. The little smiley frowny speed monitoring thing on the left at about 4secs in tells me I'm doing 29mph when he overtakes in a 30 limit. Pointless? you bet yer ass it was!
And one of his brake lights was not working.

I've seen the police hanging around there in the mornings on the north side standing in plain view and still cyclists jump the red light right in front of them. Then, they look surprised when they get pulled over.
Actually, I'm curious about this. Does anyone know what could happen to you if you get pulled over for doing this? Is it the same as doing it in a car? Do you get points on your driving license or something?
