You would of thought you could of taken it for a ride huh? Then again, its London, theres no hills let alone anything 'gnarly'. I was talking to my friend on the tube to Earls court about things 'gnarly' but said it abit loud and got alot of strange looks! Pfttt....

Or did you say 'Up on them Moors...'

Well Dave... Belive it or no it doesn't say in in manual :/ witch i think i fucking ridiculous. but i already know it'll run fine on 140s and my thinking behind the 24inch wheel was cause its 2 inches shorted it would lower the angle to something similar to the height or a 110 fork. (160mm - 50mm aka the 2inch in the 24inch wheel = 110mm).

oh and as far as that Bottle rocket.....i didn't check the price. i don't think i want too :P
  • So, if anyone is up for a nice little trip to the Lakes with me and Altern on Saturday, then here is the route.

    Dunnerdale Fells & Walna Scar

It isn't very long but we still think it could take 4hrs plus to do. The only bit we have rode is the last descent from the top of Walna Scar. We have actually rode up it then back down, it took us just under 2hrs to get up then 25mins to descend.

Here are some pics from our last rides on it.

Looked a good ride, shame I couldn't make it but had other things to do unfortunately.
  • Hi all,

Like our kid said it was a good ride. Some nice rocky descents with a few free flowing ones thrown in. A strainful ride/push up Walna Scar, but then you know there is a great DH on the other side....

There is some good trails out there, shame its a good 3hrs or more drive away.

I think we might be doing a ride on Thursday, either in Peaks, Dales or Moors depending on where the better weather is going to be.

That goes for anyone else who might want to join us.

    Cheeky gits!!!

Looks like you had a great ride out, some super pictures :)

We finally decided where we were going on Saturday and went for a ride in the Peaks starting from Hope. Quite a lot of it was what we did but backwards! Very good ride, but very hard work, was with Matt his bro and cousin, they're all stupidly fit! Some of the DH's where a little bit technical too! A few hairy moments! Especially for those behind me
Yesterday we stayed locally round Leeds. Plan was to hit Adel Woods, Thackley and Staiburn (sp?), only managed Adel for an hour as I landed a jump my foot slipped off my pedal and gave me a nice deep gash on my shin. So it was off to A&E! Gave up on A&E it was going to be a four hour wait so got some steristrips and patched myself up! :P
I've now, consequently, purchased some knee and shin guards!

Would love to join you guys on Thursday, but i'm at work :(
    delightfully dangerous!
