    Hows the new bike Danielle?

the first downhill mate is easy to find....when you get near the bottom its a bit boggy,so be carefull, you will see the signs for the bridleway as well, you drop down a field then go back through the wall.... head towards bottom right hand corner of field and you will cross a bridge, then just follow it down to the road......2nd uphill is a killer......the 2nd downhill was hard for us to find,we actually went past it,but it brought a huge grin to our faces as its technical near the top/middle then fast flowing at bottom...and the rest you rode last week through forest and the final 2 ups/downs,then trek across top and final downhill......

giggsmaster is on about doing the ride with me thursday/friday depending on work :)

It was good. There are a few new climbs again. They've done a bit of a rotation. I went this afternoon. Some good routes on the self belays on the back wall - tho a killer orange route.

I'll be out in two weeks def. Got poker with the boys this weekend lol

I am always up for a Dalby night ride. Nearly got my home made 660lumen light system working. Each light is 24mm across and churns out 220lumens. Should get 3 hours of life through the micro pucks I am using....

Might consider making more if people were interested?

I'm still not sure whats happening on Saturday now to be honest, if you guys want to plan something else instead thats fine :) Otherwise if we get anything sorted i'll let you know.

I'd be up for a night ride one time, only problem I need some decent lights!

Dave > Hope you get your bike sorted! Its so annoying when something needs fixing, you could take my route and just buy a new bike instead!

Gareth > Hello and welcome! As Altern has said, i'm sure Dave has filled you in about us lot and our rides :)

AJay > I'm hitting RC tonight, can't wait!! he he! I'll have to have a look out for that orange route. What grade was it?

It's on the back wall (left as you walk through the door) with the 3 self belays. There's a green on there too which is a pain. All good fun!

if anyone is interested.....3 choices of rides for saturday>

1st the other ride on moors which will mean a bit of map reading,as we aint dont it....

2nd try to do the ride in peaks that we had to cut short....

and the 3rd one is walna scar road in lakes...this would mean setting off at 6am in the morning and its a 3 and half hour journey.....and prob wouldnt get back to hull till about 7-8pm on the night.........

if i get chance ill post routes of the rides 2mor if i can find time to do them.......

lol Gaz, Tank = hefty bike not a Typhoon or Harrier :P

And if my hanger comes in time and i've managed to sort it all out, count me in :)...

*cough* still waiting for pics quake :P... My brothers got a diving torch which i think he's forgotten about, tried some new batteries in it but it doesn't work so i'll have a look but if it does work that'll be a bloody good home-made front light, seeing as its designed to penetrate the murky UK waters

Sounds good!! Still don't know what i'm doing on Saturday yet!! On Sunday i'm getting a tour of all the DH/trials around Leeds! I'm hoping I come back in one piece! :?

What do you mean "I suppose" haha... its the way forward :P

And Gaz as i say look in the frame manual, i think it would invalidate the warranty on the frame... either way ask on the general forum, you'll get a better response there as more ppl will see it... and 160mm forks with 24" wheels imo will look daft as! lol

Like Biggus says. might be a good idea to ask on the Workshop Forum. I've been toying with the idea of changing my 100mm to 130mm but keep getting different opinions.

You would of thought you could of taken it for a ride huh? Then again, its London, theres no hills let alone anything 'gnarly'. I was talking to my friend on the tube to Earls court about things 'gnarly' but said it abit loud and got alot of strange looks! Pfttt....
