Nice little 4 miles on the Speyside Way(Aviemore,Scotland) with the daughter on Saturday night.Managed to blag my way to getting out today(Sunday) on my own and did 13 miles along the "Old logging road" that runs from Avimore to Glenmore, took me a hour to get out and half hour back.

Got my map from Bothy bikes today ready to try Burma Road 2mor(Monday),bloke in the shop said it should only take 4-5 hours and is simple to follow, going to head out at 8am.

Also meeting Dave(Biggus) on weds at Laggan in the afternoon for a blast round there.

I wouldnt mind having ago at Ryvoan Pass at 26 miles but i think that might be pushing it with the other half

Mtbdaz>I was looking at heading over to do a bit of the local stuff again on Sunday,i didnt go over to Raywell or did you mean the scout camp, which i didnt go to either  ,i headed out Dunswell lane/up past the Lawns/Skidby/York grounds farm/Nut wood/back over Little waudby farm/Welton wold farm/downhill to Melton bottom/back over little waudby again/upto the road turn right drop down to cross roads and head back towards the direction of nut wood then retrace steps back to Skidby/along the A164 towards Beverley to Bentley then off road back to Dunswell lane.

sl2371>I thought the way forward was 29er,cant be that good if you have gone to the dark side
