Clent, thursday as normal 7:30 (Dylan read 7:00) from adams hill.

Reaper, you got a bike yet? You fancy it?

Wyre is really crappy after sunday, took the dog over last night.

Was thinking of going back over mortimer this sunday if anyone fancies it?

Moggy, normal start location ?? Should be okay will rally my guys!!

Shame on the Wyre, but summer is approaching might get 2 dry rides :)

Mortimer was muddier than the Wyre ever is last time so dunno, might be off to the peaks to.

    Yeah, top of the hill!

Mortimer was much better last time i went, about 3 saturdays ago.

Did that steep track and was in control most of the way down this time.

Ohhhh the REALLY STEEP track, that was just NUTS!!

Similar distance / time to the Malverns and Malverns is less mud prone, make it a malverns ride and I'm in, I know all the cheeky trails :)

Car was just leant out, so it's back, but could go shared on Petrol and use yours.

Still without 2 lens on the lights, 2 passenger side windows ( Perspex ) and the passenger front door won't close, it's being held shut by a inner tube.

Moggy, don't forget my mount so I can run 2 torches pls!!

Have you got a spare setup in total aswell please for a mate ??

    Dyl,

Should have, but already got one mate borrowing a couple of my lights i think.

Can setup a twin tesco setup for him/her, one old and one new, (spot and mid) with some vapex's which last about 2:25 with both. Need to know what size bars though.

How was your mount left, i cant remember?

    All,

Are we still on for mortimer on sunday?

    Chris

Drattts a post must of failed.

Mounty, Pencil in Friday then for a Malverns PAIN trip, bike permitting, which LBS ??

Moggy, I just need 1 of your £5 mounts for him, with twin ability he's not local.

I've only got the 1 arm for 1 torch, so need the other arm thingy if you've got 1.

I consider my LBS to be Pearce Cycles in Ludlow, really nice guys and helpful too... :-) ....I know there are closer shops...

Used them for about 4 years or so for the jobs that I know I cant do and sometimes for the jobs that I dont have the time/patience to do ! :-)

Friday @ Malvern, any problems or change of plan, just drop me an email or something....if the Malvern is a no go then I might pop over to the Chase, need a break from the Wyre :-(

    Cheers

Definately nearer shops, just thinking if it was Race Co think 6months :)

I'm fine for friday ( well call out permitting ), as long as I'm back for 7ish latest then no worries, can you pick me up go 1/2's on fuel ??

Malvern beats the chase hands down, so does the wyre though.

LBS is only about 20 miles each way and its a nice drive.

Yeah I can pick you up, no problem. No bike rack though, just throw them in the boot.

I know some places are better than others to ride, but all I have done this years is ride the Wyre, so anywhere different is a good thing to me :-)

I'm also kinda hoping that one or two riders will be up for a trail centre very soon too ! :-)

Cheers, I'm still waiting for my bike to get sorted out. Also, I have planned to go over to Malvern with Dylan Friday, but Dylan has said he is on call out, so if things change for any reason, then I will drive over to the Chase.

Yes I would be up for that, as the weather buggered up the last trip!

i'm unavailable to ride this week but hopefully be back riding next week as i havent ridden for ages now. i'm still waiting for my DX stuff, aparently still waiting for supplier  that place takes forever.
i doubt i'll be on the road by the 29th as i'm still waiting for my licence to come through the post so i can book my test so i will probably give the trail centre a miss but hopefully i will be sorted by mid-late april if the DVLA get a wriggle on. in the mean time, anyone selling a car? :D

Low odds on me being called out and actually going to them on a Friday unless it's URGENT, play always comes first.

And I better get to the Clent hills ASAP!!

i forget what you drive now, i have been looking at mpv's mainly but also a few estates (and a couple of right states). sometimes i wonder about adverts for cars, its as if they think that if they take photos of the best sides of cars that you wont notice how much of a nail they are or badly repaired accident damage when you spend a wasted morning viewing them  i'm sure that if i look at one more dodgy motor from a dodgy trader with a flashy website it'll resemble Michael Douglas in falling down
pm me your car details and price though on the off chance it falls into my suitable range.

i'll keep my ears open for anything that suits, what kind of price rnage are you looking at Cheapo end e.g £600 405 estate or £3-5k e.g volvo estate/old zafira?

Theres a high possibility i'll be riding over the wyre tonight if anyone fancies it.

really upto around 2k ish with some movement either way. i unfortunately missed a 2001 zafira being sold by a neighbour last week. they sold it on the thursday and i found out it was for sale two days later  went cheap too at around £1500. i have a scenic to look at tomorrow though so i'm hoping thats ok. i have also decided to never look at another car in birmingham as each one up there has been a total s**t heap.
i cant ride tonight....food shopping after the other half finishes work then running errands.

You missed a good (dry) ride today :-) I have been out a lot this week as its been so dry.

Some sections are still muddy, camber, garlic and the caravan run are dry and quick....

I met up with eddyesi this morning, a nice steady pace...about 2.5 hours and around 14 miles in total.

Anyone up for a visit to a Welsh trail centre over the next couple of weeks or so ? :-)
As the last CYB trip was iinterrupted by bad weather.

Sorry, forgot to say thanks, been busy last couple of weeks, but was a great ride, definately want to get out again on the Wyre, some great bits of natural singletrack, and no muddier than the better bits of the chase off the Dog.

Not sure about the steady pace, makes me sound slow  but was a bout right for me, though still trying to get some fitness back :? hopefully get out and meet a few more of you? Anyone out next thurs, Chase was well busy this week, and the Dog was a bit wet and trashed, so fancy a differnt venue?

We are probably riding Cwmmcarn on the 29th too, been told LLandegla is badly cut up and a bit muddy, and Afan is a bit far for a first outing of the Year, but still thinking about CYB. Riding the XC though, not really a DH man, but will give it a go, just not uplifts. Will let you know closer to the time, got 3-4 definates from my Chase lot

Anyone else is welcome to join, will probably be able to give someone a lift too :?:

Anyone around for a ride tomorrow, ended up free, and traisl are dry enough 8)
