  • Yesterday's uneaten roasties and chicken... I might have done more than needed, but given I've yet to finish, I'd say I cooked enough :D

Mmm... lucky boy, roast chicken and roast potatoes.

For supper here it's homemade potato and blue cheese cakes accompanied by flagoelet bean stew and buttered leeks with apple crumble for pudding.

Probably won't be able to move afterwards.

It was my birthday: My wife made deep-fried calamari, followed by roast pork and homemade sticky toffee pudding

    I feel rather full now.

    Happy Birthday!!!

I'm very, very hungry. Not leaving work until 9pm and I'm surrounded by fast food places - I must resist.

Please, please, no more posting until after 9pm.

I won't bonk on the way home as I've got plenty in reserve, but it feels like I haven't eaten for a week and this thread's not helping.

Oh Benno, the re-heated roasties were yum. Would you believe it still enough for luch tomorrow too... Maybe I should do less than 6 spuds per person next time.

6 sounds fine, that's 6 whole spuds cut in half, roasted around a nice beef joint - or a chicken, with yorkshire pud's and... ...

I'm only allowed to do the peeling, but that sounds pretty much how Mrs Benno does it.

"just made a lasagne and mum is making a curry, so you can have whatever you want for tea"

Sounds like I may put in a PB tonight

The only sensible option is lasagne as a starter with curry for main or visa versa, enjoy

Just been told that I'm here 'til 10pm - jeez.

Lasagne followed by curry sounds good, I think there's a couple of Cobra's in the fridge to help it down.
