Plums to that! I'm off into Kingston for the Christmas market. There's a stall selling very large, very tasty Bratwursts and other types of hot dogs with German words. :D

Fair play. It's just I've not been on the bike since friday and I'm getting jittery (or is that the coffee*).

I was in Kingston yesterday, rather busy...

    * having a load of coffee before having my medical yesterday may also been a mistake. My doc was initially worried about my blood pressure...

    good work

I am thinking I am now old enough to own a hip flask, mainly because I've made some slow gin this year and I want to carry it around on cold days :D

EDIT: Sloe Gin, although it was quite a slow process to make it

That's a trifle. The ingredients are thus:

    3 swiss rolls,
    4 lime jelly blocks,
    3 litres of custard,
    2 litres of double cream.
    14 billion calories.

More mince pies with organic brandy cream

    Yum.

However, the snowboarding at lunchtime should negate this :-)

Dagnabbit. Thought about nipping to RP with my board but there's not enough coverage and a deer or 2 may get in the way...

I was dithering, but it's the first time that I can remember that there's been enough snow here to make it worthwhile. So I took a cheeky extended lunchbreak, hiked to the nearest hill, and spent a happy hour carving turns. Hiking back up the hill makes up for many mince pies :-)

The kids on sleds were rather jealous as I slalomed between them...

Well I did manage to sleep through most of it. But the boys enjoyed it. As they might at 11. :)

Didn't Cameron meet with a Professor in linguistics to create a new language for that film?

Back on OT, had cheese and biscuits last night. A selection of blues (including Calabres or something - had real "zing"!) and a soft, creamy Waterloo. Deeeeee-licious.

Last week, I received this as a Christmas pressie from my sister & brother-in-law:
    http://www.pongcheese.co.uk/shop/the-ultimate-pong-box.html

My kitchen, and indeed most of the ground floor, now smells like a cheese shop. I've been noshing on cheese and crackers since, washed down with lashings of port :-)
