I've never ventured to the Morpeth, but one day I will. I've often wondered about logistics though. Like, do you need a lock, and dont the other pub goers think its strange that there are all these people in lyrca. Is packing a pair of baggies advisable, or is it just a case of not wearing the supertight white skinsuit on that day. And what happens after I've had ten pints. Have people already created "wiggley" strava segments.

So Ribble - you joining the party tonight.

Hmmm. I finish at 5, so will be there a little (quite a bit) earlier. Anyone going to be around at 5:30ish?

May be there around then. PT day today though :S

Oi, don't bring me into this forum. I'll chuck you some spare stabilisers as I go past... you might need it a bit later.

To date I think its only CJCP whose been scalped by GB. (There may be more, but he's openly admitted it !!!!)

I have no fear of my bike handling skills when tanked up after a skinfull. I love that feeling of invincibility. 6 pints of Doom Bar and my watts ouput rises exponentially.

Do not tease me with talk of doombar when all I have is a pub full of youngs ales

  • CJ was just being nice and let me through. But, I actually swear I was faster on my Brompton. Since getting the road bike I feel like I'm getting slower and slower... ! I used to be able to keep up with the roadies, now I can't even hang on to the Pashleys.

Worth it though, to see all of those roadies faces at the lights when you beat or join them each time... Priceless :D

I have been waiting for a warm Friday night to brave a ride up to the 'Peth from the wilds of Feltham and a wobble home.
However this Friday both of the kids are away on trips. First time in years. So I shall be out for a meal with the Mrs.

Blmey, perfect night to increase your liquid intake, I thought lots of people would be keen. Just had a lovely liquid lunch in Thames Ditton, whoops.
