Bought the following from Rose Bikes (they have a sale atm plus you can get a £10 voucher for new accounts):

Time Xpro - to replace the Xpresso's which I love.
    R7000 11-32 Cassette
    KMC 11 EL Chain
    Shimano disc brake pads
    Some energy gums and protein
    Some disc brake cleaner

Everything was cheaper than any shops in the UK.

Their Time Xpro 10 pedals price is good at £90 before using that £10 new customer voucher!

Nearly bought some of these from Merlin a few months ago when they had them for ~£90, but it would mean also buying a pair of 3-bolt shoes, after a first world dilemma of how much to spend on shoes. This offer has given me something to chew over while riding this afternoon.

I much prefer the float and the stability I've had with the xpresso's compared to my Shimano 2 bolt SPDs but they are not as convenient, so for commuting around town etc I would stick to SPDs. For longer cycles where you only need to clip in and out a handful of times these are miles better. Reason for change is that the pedals no longer turn the right side anymore (well they are 6 years old so fair enough) and I needed new cleats and was going to buy some Xpresso 4s for £40 but I see that these Xpro's have a new type of cleat which is more durable. They are considerably more expensive but hey you are not meant to downgrade :D

In anticipation of some all day rides, a Carradice SQR thing so I can attach my Barley bag to the bike with the Spesh Power saddle. It may look a bit ungainly but it will be very practical...

@ Daniel B: how long does it take you to choose what to wear? You must have dozens of everything. And a cycling budget greater than the GDP of Begium...

I think Daniel B must sell a lot of his stuff, as I do not buy 10% of what he has and my cycling wardrobe is almost as big as my normal clothes one.

hehehe, I am actually whittling down my kit store, but yes you are right I am, and do sell a fair amount of stuff, or bin it if it's knackered from the turbo, though I do try and get my moneys worth!

I'm pretty sure ITB has way more kit than me though :D

I have been laxed though, and not sold stuff in very recent times, and due to weight loss, and now appreciating what a PROPER fitting garment is, have an amount to sell which is too baggy.

I have kit for turbo use (even white shorts!), kit for what I call training rides, and then I have my best kit just for longer/group rides, the two jerseys above will be going into that category.

As my age increases, I also find I appreciate quality more, so will spend a bit more if I feel it is justified and still represents value - to me.

I do have a smattering of Rapha, but my favourite brand for fit above all else, then quality and colour schemes I like, is Ale, massively underrated imho, and quite often some stonking discounts.

I used to love Castelli and Mavic, but their jerseys simply do not fit me anymore.
Castelli shorts/bibs do nicely though, and I'm a big fan of the progetto x2 pad, SO comfy!
I feel the cold so have some sorpasso bibtights, and also some of their thermal linger shorts, the ones that come right down to the knee, both in black and yellow naturally.
Shortwise, slightly strangely I have no Castelli, but for best have Rapha and La Passione.

Many people may think my approach is wrong/nuts, and it's entirely their right to do so, and it wouldn't matter to me anyway.

I don't really have any other vices. Don't drink much, don't go out much now we are parents, don't smoke/vape, gamble, take drugs (Benadryl excluded) not majorly into 'fashion' and even my petrolheadedness has diminished hugely over the last 5 years.
No Sky or satellite tv, games consoles etc, through choice I must add.

I have googled many times to see if there are charities that would take serviceable cycling kit, but apart from a post from 2016, could find nothing :|

£54.99 from CRC, down from £180

Love the Matt black one that Wiggle have, but went yellow for a change.

Reviews are in the main glowing - just have to see if my 56cm head can fit into the small which is for 52-56.
I have a recollection of not fitting into a Stradivarius (not the violin) some years ago, so if the fit is identical, I may fall fowl (well it was cheap) again.

This little beauty rocked up the other day, REALLY light, and seems to be very well made - not £180 worth, but for £55 it could have been a steal.

Sadly, the small was not a bit too small, but width wise, not length wise (Identical to the Stradivarius!) - guess this is for people with small thin heads!
So if you do have a small thin head, and a head sized at 56cm or less, I highly recommend one of these.
No mediums available at this kind of price, which is a good thing!

If you are after one in a larger size (The reviews are glowing for it, though shame it is not MIPS) Bike Discount, Mantel and BikeINN all have them at a decent price - £80ish at Bike Discount iirc.

I didn't think I'm at the same level as DB, ITB or BTR, but would admit I might have my moments! Upgraded gravel bike and more wheels remain on this year's wishlist though, as well as a Garmin 530 (probably).

Year before last, I listed my kit and was shocked at the amount that duplicated, so moved some stuff on. Think will be doing the same soon as my new year's resolution to pull back the bike gear-related spending didn't last very long

haha, you are in the longest river Sir ;-)

Same here - I think the key thing is to try and move stuff on as soon as you establish it isn't right, as it's more likely to sell sooner being more current - BTR seems to have that down.
Otherwise it builds up, gets old, and is more of a work up to get pictures taken and items listed.

The Manta is a great lid! I had a black on black one when they first came out. Very light and secure fit (for me).

I've just bought the new Assos Equipe RS S9 bibs. I tried both the RS and RSR, but honestly couldn't see where the extra money was in the RSRs and they both felt the same in terms of compression.

I did 166km and 3,800m of climbing in them on their first outing. I have now ordered another pair along with an Assos sleeveless summer base layer. For me, Assos is my go to for all my kit apart from jerseys, which I still feel Rapha have the edge on. I just wish they would tighten up the stomach / lower back area on the Pro Team jerseys. I'm having to size down to make them fit snug around the waist, and 85kg in a medium isn't right IMO. Their Aero range is perfect in a large for me.

    #boring

Two 700 x 35 schwalbe marathon plus reflex tyres for the kona minute.
The voyager hypers (or hyper voyagers) seem to be compromised, two rear punctures in as many months, despite applying puncture shield tape on the inside.

Managed to fit a pair to my Boardman sans tools, can I be lucky for a second time I wonder......

Halfords had them for £23 each, lopped 10% off with BC, then a further 10% off through a work reward gift card thing. So about £37 the pair, versus the rrp of £41.49 each, fairly happy with that, though will miss the pleasing brown colour of the voyagers.

Planet X do have them listed, but they want £30 for a pair, plus would need more puncture shield tape which is about £16 a pair, and of course px will charge for postage, so would end up about an extra £15.

Well they arrived, and diappointingly the Ale small jersey is not very small, and the Giordana one is also a touch large, even in small, so have sent them back (At my expense), and ordered an XS Giordana MS jersey from All 4 Cycling instead.

Castelli Raddoppia Jacket in Small, in this rather fetching yellow colour.
Circa £90, versus the £200 rrp.

Think there were mixed reviews of the first version, but they generally seem favourable across multiple sites for this version.

A new R60 6800BB as I'm getting a click from that area and can feel it when I pedal. It might just be the crank needs loosening and reseating but the BB could be 2 years old so due for retirement.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

That Raddoppia jacket is LUSH, and luckily for me, IS small for a Castelli, and not very stretchy, but fits really well in the body, although sleeves are a little more generous than I need.

Still room for a base layer or jersey underneath - very pleased with it, hopefully won't get an outing for 6 months........

I bought my Alpha jacket in Westbrook's sale in April last year. Managed one drizzly ride before the weather became too warm for it. I was almost hoping for an early autumn so I could give it a proper try out....

I have an Alpha jersey which is superb - and also an Espresso of some description, might be a 3, but that one has not been worn yet, and may get sold, as I now have my shakedry which will fit over the top of whatever clothing I happen to have on.

How much was the jacket out of interest?

Just bought this from Merlin - too slow and missed the yellow ones, but this might be for the commuter to save the Arione cav edition:

That's a very decent price - think I bought one way back when from the then Castelli Cafe for £100, but they inadvertently sent me one that had been used and returned - and it was fairly obvious but had clearly been missed :?
They were very good about it, covered the cost of the return and refunded me with no quibble, but had no more in stock in that size, so the Alpha jacket idea was abandoned - I also don't like any of their subsequent colourways - shallow I know :D
