That's a very decent price - think I bought one way back when from the then Castelli Cafe for £100, but they inadvertently sent me one that had been used and returned - and it was fairly obvious but had clearly been missed :?
They were very good about it, covered the cost of the return and refunded me with no quibble, but had no more in stock in that size, so the Alpha jacket idea was abandoned - I also don't like any of their subsequent colourways - shallow I know :D
Surely those signs of wear would have ceased to be apparent after a few uses? You should have asked them for a discount...

Yes probably, but I'm a fussy bugger, and the bit that put me off most, beyond the piling, was that it had clearly had something like the remnants of a gel (or maybe something else  ) dropped down the front.
The person checking returns that day clearly did not!

Some of the rudy projects I have owned in the past come with a bug net. Though can't you just go cap or go all Pantaniesque with a bandana under the helmet?

Some of the caps are really thin these days.

lol, it's not that bad, I have sold a load of green stuff in recent months, although a couple of Castelli Cannondale items, including a Gabba have curvived the cull.
I do have a reasonable collection of arm warmers and knee warmers though, like to have a few different materials and insulation variations to choose from before going on a ride.

I've moved even more over to black & yellow now (What I deed nice tones of green are fairly rare in cycle clothing), and alas red and white have no place on any of my bikes - well aside from my Langster, but I may be selling that anyway.

Just received an order from Wiggle for...
    Time Xpro 10 pedals (£96) https://www.wiggle.co.uk/time-xpro-10-pedals/
Camo-coloured (rather than white) DHB Dorica Carbon shoes (£80 using DHBMAY02 promo code for 20% off £100 of slected DHB kit)https://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-dorica-carbon-road-shoe/

Topcashback allow the DHB voucher codes, although I'm still waiting for acknowledgement of this order made last night https://www.topcashback.co.uk/wiggle-online-cycle-shop/

Nearly ordered a pair of the 2-bolt Doricas at the same time https://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-dorica-mtb-shoe-1/, which would have meant I could have used the 25% off a £150 DHB order, but I was restrained... Partly to not get carried away with spending money, but also because I wasn't sure the EU size 43s were going to be a good fit or need sending back for 42s (which isn't free these days).

Now to learn how to clip into and out of 3-bolt pedals, almost certainly on the turbo... Been using 2-bolt Shimano and then 2-bolt Time ATAC for ~22 years, back to embarrassing tumbles into the hedge for me, possibly!

One of the above, having googled what it was!

Have also just ordered a pair of these phenomenally reviewed grip grab sl socks. Have some of their armwarmers and like them a lot. Went for medium, as reviews say they size up big.

I was contemplating buying this rather fetching (IMHO) Giordana Lungo jersey, before spotting it was more of a relaxed fit (So I'm oooot), but someone else might want one - £85 rrp:

The astute saddle arrived, and it's lovely and light, and well made, but the green I bought is much more of a lime green, and not the dark green as it appears in the pic, so back it goes.

This arrived, and I was rather underwhelmed - sleeves are too long, and fit is not close enough, and this is their RC range.
No way I would pay full price for it, at the price I paid it's fine, but the fit is all wrong for me, so back this goes as well.
And now having seen it in the flesh, I realise my shakedry does all that this can do, and more but with a better fit - and that's not fitted either!
Scott clothing seems to be a bit hit and miss ime, I have an RC speedsuit (I suppose you would call it - jersey and bibs together) in the same size as this, and it fits really well, and is comfy to the level that you don't even think about it, which is always a good sign.

New pulley wheels for my Tiagra derrailleur.

Feel very tempted by that minitool set, even at £15, since I need a second minitool to keep where 2nd bike lives.

    Worth reading here: https://bikepacking.com/gear/blackburn- ... ch-review/

Lots of people on the web saying the ball heads on the mini version are rubbish. Might be an over-reaction but it was enough to put me off. Now if I could get the big version cheap somewhere I might give it a punt!

The seller I bought from, OO, has doubled the price from £9.63 to £18.15  Glad I got in early. All I've done with mine so far is to put the bits into the wallet after cutting the zipties etc and put it back on the coffee table.

Yep, same here. I'd also seen the reviews about the "ball-ends being made of cheese" before buying, but thought the low price combined with thinking I'd make sure I used them carefully would make them worth a punt. They seem pretty well made to me but time will tell.

The small Mavic XA Pro helmet is a nice snug fit, but tags were missing, it's slightly marked and the cradle was unclipped on one side. Obvious return, and had potentially been used. Came from Wiggle. Reckon I'd stand any chance of a partial refund if I sent them pics? Inclined to keep as fits well, and they don't seem to be available at that price very often...

Just got some (non-cycling) Oakley Frogskin Lites from Evans with my BC 10% discount. Had tried to go via TopCashBack who were offering 4.2% cash back, plus an extra £2.50 this weekend, but wouldn't go through. Had to call them to sort the 10% discount which they happily did, but bit gutted couldn't use TCB at same time online. Anyone else had this?

Some Smart Sams for the Gravel Bike, to replace the MudX bites which wander alarming, on well gravel. Look good slightly more treaded than the Gravel Kings SK and are proper sized, ie 35mm is 35mm not 40mm....

Now to find a home for those MudX!

on it's way to my local PC World store, just need to sort some brake cables ;-) and a Sedis PC1150 chain from DFS in Rotherham.
