Full bike service, with a chain, bottom bracket and lower steerer bearings replaced.

Maybe I should really buy an all weather commuter instead (but those TCR's/CAAD12's look so sexy...)

CAAD12 is my all weather bike ;-)

Ordered a couple of pairs of bibs from Pactimo. 30% off with a code plus I had £10 worth of loyalty points.

Another pair of their Summit Raptors which are my favourite bib shorts and also a pair of the Summit Stratos to try. Will return one or the other depending on which I prefer.

10L one of these Backloaders, for £39.99 less TCB from Tredz:

FYI, if anyone is after the capacious 15 litre version, Tweeks seem to be the best priced at £55.

Warning re these short, the material at the end dof the legs (which has a laser cut / unstitched finish) has a tendency to separate with the top layer unpeeling. I had to return mine (which hadn't been worn much). My brother's pair have done the same thing. Shame as otherwise they are really nice shorts.

Another downside to these shorts is the effective waistband is very high which makes these shorts commute use only. Wouldn't want to be on a long ride and needing a comfort break though there seems to be enough stretch in the shoulder straps.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

a tube of Muc-off C3 ceramic wet lube - eventually ran out of all the little bits left in the tubes around the garage and got caught out in Tuesday's downpour which washed the dry lube I'd put the day before on...

Rightly, or wrongly, I have just ordered this Met Manta Aero ting to be a 'winter' helmet primarily........
    Safety first.

£54.99 from CRC, down from £180

Love the Matt black one that Wiggle have, but went yellow for a change.

Reviews are in the main glowing - just have to see if my 56cm head can fit into the small which is for 52-56.
I have a recollection of not fitting into a Stradivarius (not the violin) some years ago, so if the fit is identical, I may fall fowl (well it was cheap) again.

    ^ that's a thing of beauty!

On a slightly lower budget I've just ordered a 9 spd MTB rear mech and a 12-36 MTB cassette + chain for the winter bike to make it more hill-climb friendly. It might look a bit odd but my elderly knees will appreciate it.

Morvelo Overland "riding shirt". Expensive for casual but if it does double-duty maybe not too bad. Missed Gabriel's kind offer of a 20% discount code on another thread, but made do with a 15% new customer discount instead.

Quite like the idea of a riding shirt on the gravel bike, got this windproof-front one from CRC a few weeks ago, and have only taken it off now its warmed up!

I just accidentally a whole Dolan ADX internally routed frameset.

It's going to replace the Canyon as not having a rack or mudguards is driving me up the wall.

Gore One 1985 Shakedry - at only £115 from CRC, I had to see what they're like in the flesh. Fully expect to be sending it back due to reports of 'odd' sizing, but as only had a few left thought i'd at least check it out.
EDIT: yes, can confirm the odd sizing. The large was MAHOOSIVE on me, so going back...

Their Time Xpro 10 pedals price is good at £90 before using that £10 new customer voucher!

Nearly bought some of these from Merlin a few months ago when they had them for ~£90, but it would mean also buying a pair of 3-bolt shoes, after a first world dilemma of how much to spend on shoes. This offer has given me something to chew over while riding this afternoon.
