But then heading out to Windsor to support some friends doing the Red Bull Time Laps event. Hoping it’s freezing so new kit can be deployed.

Yeah if you wouldn't mind cheering on the Pewsey Velo team for me, black kit with tricolor bands. I'll be pushing up Zzzz

    No. A cardigan.

In due course, I may need to borrow one of your collection of walking sticks.

    Stans Race Sealant
3x DHB mid weight SS base layers
    Giro Synthe MIPS

Needed a new helmet for a while as my Mojito is getting a bit long in the tooth. I bought a Ballista MIPS in the spring but I can't fit a cap underneath it, and it sits pretty high on the head making me look like a mushroom so I've never actually worn it. It has been worn once though, when my Mrs was riding to the shops on her step through and couldnt find her own helmet.

I filled two bin liners with old kit yesterday, some of which I hadn't worn since before I moved house in 2012.

I've put the bags in the loft room so they are out of the way before they go to charity. That should ensure the don't leave the house until after we move again.

I've started earning Audax badges as a way to patch holes in my cycling clothes... it's a nice way to kill two pigeons with one stone...

Tbh, there isn't a lot in the way of jerseys; just some old club kits and a bunch of Prudential 100 charity tops.

The rest is mainly cheap Ronhill running tops and old bib shorts and bib longs. Not sure there is a market for 10 yo pads squashed flat by my sweaty bum crack. I might be wrong though.

Anyone found a dedicated bike clothing charity, you know the kind of place that sends them to people who use bikes but might not have the funds for kit?
Either here or abroad, not fussed.

This seems to be the only one I can find really (EDIT - this one is just in Australia!):
    https://attaquercycling.eu/pages/africa-kit-appeal

Please only send jerseys and bib knicks

That confuses me though, bib knicks I think of as 3\4 length, which seems really specific.

This link has UK based addresses, might contact some of the stores, and see if it is still happening, some two years on:
    https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/latest-news/donate-your-old-cycling-kit-to-matt-brammeiers-africa-rising-charity-206965

Plenty of community bike projects are after accessories, and I have a shedload to take to a place in Oxford (Handlebars, seatposts, tyres etc) next time I am up there, but hardly any after clothes.

Reckon I will contact the one above and see what comes of it, seems such a shame to bin perfectly servicable kit, or give it away for pennies, when someone could make use of it - talking base layers and jerseys and the like.

I'm a medium too but all the clothing people have got their sizing terribly wrong and I'm finding the need to go upto XL size to correct their sizing errors

Castelli Perfetto LS in Ceramic Blue
    Galibier Barrier Deep Winter Gloves
    Some Chamios cream

Not given to mini reviews but.....got the Galibier gloves on Saturday (amazing service as always) and tried then today. They are exceptional. Padded and warm but not too cumbersome on the hoods and very well made. For £25 i dont think ive come across a better pair of winter gloves.

Halfords own brand helmet light- £10 er, it's a budget bit of kit but even if I only get a few months use il behappy. First time I've used a helmet light, I noticed drivers actually seeing me and slowing, maybe a case of having a light looking right at them, rabbit lamping style?!
Caveat - I buy and ride cheap, however, I reserve the right to advise on expensive kit that I have never actually used and possibly never will

Have spent my Tesco Clubcard Evans vouchers on a couple of gp4000s and a cassette. Would advise anyone else that has them to spend without delay in case Sports Direct/Mike Ashley decide to conveniently not honour them.....

    Three DHB base layers: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-short-sleev ... GIQAvD_BwE

They are a nice mid-weight base, and the fit very tight. I like them, and at £12.50 they are a bit of a bargain.

I've been extremely good of very recent, and have sold a lot more than I have bought, well done me!

I had just over £30 on an Evans gift card (For the fact I ordered a 36T chainring, and they sent me a 34T in a 36T sleeve, and then had no stock - luckily I noticed before fitting, possible it was Shimano's mistake of course), and with their recent acquisition, it has been on my mind to get it spent sooner rather than later.

Seems that the 7spd shifter on my daughters Frog bike gave up the ghost last night, so £18 for one of those, and another £15 or so on a pair of kids mitts, and a next size up of kids cycling tights for when she outgrows the current pair.

Nothing along the lines of buying a new aero bike, but I have just bought a van I suppose :D

Spent my £30 birthday Wiggle voucher on a Castelli Pro Light wind vest, and it's just landed on my desk.
OK, to minimise my cash contribution it's in mainly white and last year's Team Sky livery, but I can live with that :D

It feels like something the elves of Rivendell might have woven from unicorn tears during long winter evenings. It weighs less than the packaging it arrived in, and will pack down to the size of a satsuma. I have high hopes for it!

I've been considering the very same! I only have LS base layers at the moment, but think I need some SS to go with my Alpha jacket when it's not propely freezing. Are they as short as the pics suggest?

I've got one. It's great, packs down to the size of a gel in a jersey pocket, and surprisingly effective in keep the wind off.

Last purchases for me were a 2nd hand San Marco SKN saddle off ebay, then a replacement photochromatic lens for my Jawbreakers from Amazon. Annoyed I ordered via Prime for the advertised next-day delivery only to see delivery not expected until Sunday
