(needed to post to update my f-ing Watch prefs here now I've changed my main emailly. Not that I ever meant to watch this damn topic. No offense!)

No I'm not stupidly rich like some people here or like my current chap (who by the way screamed like a girl when I had to cut them off him when he crashed and injured his leg, heck never heard a man complain so much about losing a pair of shorts  ) who can afford such extravagance

No just a normal pair of Trek bib shorts for 40 quid
Officers don't run, it's undignified and panics the men

Received conformation of order ... then received notice of cancellation because they don't have any  , I've seen elsewhere on the net that this product has been discontinued.

That was my first (attempted) order with SBR , and it will be my last ... tossers

Some assos bib shorts. I was curious. They're not the ridiculous booby style.

Some assos bib shorts. I was curious.

I bought a pair for the same reason (plus of course to wear, while riding my bike, natch). Without going the way of TMI, they do seem comfy but they definitely feel a bit, well, odd. I've never actually worn a stretch disposable nappy but...

    Moral dilemma advice please!

I ordered some half-price bib shorts from an ebay seller (who is also a proper bike shop, and has a 99.9% ebay rating, so a kosher seller). Instead, I got a pair of brand new Ultremos + tubes, worth £35 more.

I use Ultremos and am very happy to have another pair for when my current ones expire. However, I neither ordered nor paid for them.

What would you do? I think I am too honest to not say anything; the bib shorts I actually don't need as I bought another pair as well which have just been delivered.

So should I let the seller know and suggest I pay the difference? Should I offer to pay for the difference but with a discount? What do you reckon?

Let the seller know. And offer to pay the difference between the price you paid and the price the seller is advertising them for.

Besides, the seller may twig and give you a bad review?

These are unsolicited goods, the legal position:
    Unsolicited Goods and Services
Under the Unsolicited Goods and Services Act 1971 (as amended), it is an offence to demand payment for goods known to be unsolicited and someone who receives goods in these circumstances may retain them as unconditional gift, and does not have to pay for or return any unwanted goods. If a consumer already has a relationship with the company, the terms of the agreement between the parties would need to be taken into account.

Someone will be complaining to the seller that they ordered some Ultremos and got some dodgy man-kini thing instead! I'd let the seller know, but make a suggestion you'd like to keep the Ultremos and come to an arrangement.
    ... and no idea ...

The seller certainly should twig as presumably some punter with a package full of lycra instead of race tyres is going to have something to say about the situation!

I don't think I could just rip the guy off in any case. I'll drop him a line.

Yeah, defo drop him a line... If he's a good person he should offer to make you a deal on the ultremos... it was his error after all.

After an entire evening trying to rebuild and true my Bonty Race Lites, I've come to the conclusion that they are seriously poor wheels, either that or I've got a bad one

The upside is that a beautiful set of Mavic Krysium Elite wheels in silver are now on their way to me, hopefully for the weekend :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
