A Canyon Endurace CF 9.0 (Ultegra)

Cos I am doing the Marmotte see. And cos I needed to swap to a compact, and get lighter wheels. And it's cheaper to sell the Supersix and get a brand new bike than doing that.

Much do you think you'll get for the supersix?

Love mine, but been pondering going down a different path with a newborn on the way. Bit overkill for commuting on the nice days.

Sounds like a downgrade to me. And don't the Canyon's come with 52/36s anyway these days?

I already have, the supersix is just being used for nice commuting days now.

Nope. 50/34 and 11-32. I need the comfort now. Good price for Ultegra and DT Swiss RR21 wheels. Good climbing potential.

We'll soon find out! Canyon due mid September. Good spec, Ultegra, Fulcrum Quattro. Absolutely mint. A new 105 is still £1700 in Evans, so I should clear £850 or so.......

The fact I only paid £800 for mine, new, is probably what will make me keep it. To replace with half as good is gonna cost more than I'll recoup.

I definitely don't need a bike, but what size is your supersix?

    54. It's very green, I should add.

When I say clear £850 I might chuck it on ebay at a higher price to see what bites.

Had new Tiagra but swapped that with the 105 I had on the commuter. Also swapped out the OEM wheels with some Khamsins.

Nothing flashy but everything and more than I'll ever need.

TBH you'd probably make your money back but, as you say, getting something better will be expensive.

Frame wise is a downgrade, hasn't your Supersix Evo got Ultegra already? The wheels though are a significant plus though, although not sure what you have with your Evo.

I can't imagine I would swap my Supersix for anything else than a SuperSix Evo. Unless my back gives up :)

Yes. I'm not sure the frame is a downgrade though. Very highly regarded and, it seems, lighter than the Six. Though that's a mere 50g or so. My back isn't the greatest, hence the stack of spacers I have.

Wheels are Fulcrum Quattro. Great, but not light.

Yep, the Evo is a very race-oriented bike so if your back can't take it I can see why you would like to change it. It would probably fairer to compare it to the Synapse!

Anyway, good luck getting one and having no issues, when I was in Koblenz for a month I was very surprised to see a lot of people riding other brands because of the issues they've had with order management, replacements, etc.

I like the Synapse. But I (weirdly for me) don't want discs on a good weather bike. The Synapse suffers also from the old Cannondale poor stock wheel syndrome. Good offers on the Orange and Black Ultegra at the moment mind.

Just bought a Garmin 820 with all the bits, I was a bit surprised how small it was. So now have finally got my powerpod working properly too, so I can have actual power data to back up my feeble rides.
Actually really like it after a few commutes, very easy to get along with.

Caveat - I buy and ride cheap, however, I reserve the right to advise on expensive kit that I have never actually used and possibly never will

These arrived whilst I was on holiday, after they ticked me off about using a new e-mail address to get a 10% discount, and although they feel pretty nice, the fit is not right for me.

I went for small (Currently 66kg) and although it fits nicely around the torso and chest, there is too much material under the arms, so it is gappy and flappy (Technical terms) so they have to go back.

*Edit - looking at the pics above, the model seems to have a similar issue eh.

Also, to my eye, the camo scheme is not as nice in the flesh as on the pics.
E-mailed them as per their return instructions, had a swift reply with a link to an 'automated' return process page, filled that out yesterday, and had an automated reply to saying it was being worked on, and I would recieve a reply within 3 days - this is all to get a link to a postage paid label to send them back.

Did you get the special Hunt wheels too? Mason Frames are beautiful to look at - and unusually for a pretty frame - apparently superb to ride as well. Very very jealous.

Even more jealous of the etap hrd - I lost patience in waiting ( I think sram initially said november 2015 for release) and went for Shimano; but I still wish... maybe I could sell the Shimano gruppo and put the proceeds towards the etap hrd

You gotta post a picture when you have built it up

1215 tubular grams of utterly lovely sexiness.

The brake track has a noticeably rougher feel to it, and small grooves sliced into it, I assume to help clearing water off it. Will report back after the first wet weather braking test...
