Forgive me BR for I have sinned, it's been two months since my last confession.

    Since then I've bought:

    Tiagra cassette for CX
    2 * KNC X10-93 chains
    Pair of Schwalbe Durano 25c
    Vulpine Hoy Roubaix knee warmers
    Vulpine Hoy mitts
    Fizik bar tape
    Cateye rear light
Couple of 80mm valve Conti tubes
    Jagwire road pro cable kit
    SKS Raceblades for the Scott
    Camelbak podium

Most of the above were bargains, cap doffed to the bargains thread, all of the above added up to a measly £165!

2 ls chapeau jerseys, 2 loud pairs of socks, 1 pair of winter gloves all for £89 delivered. Thanks to whoever posted the link in bargains! Very pleased with the jerseys especially - large fits me perfectly and they seem ideal for dry March/April/September/October days with appropriate base layer, will try out the gloves tonight as I trashed my last set while crashing last week.

    I plumped for this one:
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000RA0Y0Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Was £47 when I ordered.

Not despatched yet, but will review when it does versus my pedestal fan - also sealey.

Went for that over the £20 more expensive 20" version, as this one only moves 10% less air, something like 3000 versus 3300 - plus this will be lighter, potentially quieter, and will have a smaller footprint.
Going to try a remote socket initially, and then look to move to a more manual method of altering the speed if required.

Assos team vest. It's a budget falkenzahn. Quite liked the look even if I'm not a fan of F1.

    May get the matching LS

I bought the SS and cap - I'm a Merc F1 fan. When they heard Eve was ill, they sent her one of the team Triple Champions t-shirts - top people.

This ones an 18'' fan, but only marginally less capable than the 20. Glad to hear they do a good job.

Giro Empire SLX Shoes arriving tomorrow and plan to use them on the club ride on Wednesday, can't wait
Deda RHM01 the really basic £15 handlebars for the winter bike, hoping they aren't going to be too different to the Deda Zero 100 on the nice bike

Ordered 2 x pairs of the Chapeau winter gloves last week, paid via PayPal ("pay after delivery"). Got email confirmations from both Chapeau and PayPal. Last night received an emailed invoice from Chapeau asking me to pay online. No despatch advice as yet. Anyone else get something similar when they placed their orders?

Yeah, it's a tad weird but I did check mine on the system and you should be able to see that they are despatched with a tracking number if you click on orders and something or other.

mine arrived the next day and just in time because it's bloody freezing, they're very good but suffer the same problem i find with all winter gloves, the inside liner pulls away when taking them off.

Gloves should be layered - it's why I liked the Assos system.

Bad news regarding the liners coming out on the Chapeau's. My current Alè's seem ok in that regard, but not very water resistant or breathable. My original Aldi winter gloves were just brilliant over 4 seasons, but eventually succumbed to the liner coming away.

Agree that layering is best but what good "overgloves" are there, other than Assos? Not a fan of their designs, or prices, though am sure they work great...

I think you can create your own. I use their "Early Winter" gloves as my normal version (the 851 version are fantastic) but I used Gore Running gloves as an inner, liner, glove. Mostly I used Assos lobsters as outlers (I picked up a pair very cheaply <£20) but any lobster would do. Lots of upsides including being much easier to dry and also, on those days (common in the Highlands) where home rides are much warmer than morning rides, easily adapted.

Bloody hell , wasn't expecting a free bag  I certainly didn't get one with my dhb R1s.

Now I'm wondering, what could you possibly want a bag for? Shoes are either going to be on my feet or on my shoe rack. :?

    Colour? :)

I bought a white pair a few weeks back. No box with mine as ex-display, but do have bag, spare insoles/instep adjustments.
Will wait for dry warm weather before attaching cleats. They are lovely though, and incredibly light.
