One of those Craft base layers with the windstopper front, as reviewed recently by BTR. Gone for a short sleeved one. Should get a fair bit of use when Spring arrives.

Just ordered 4 different rear lights, as a massive overreaction to the loss of my trusty old Cateye holy hand grenade yesterday. (In broad daylight, because I CBA to unclip it from the seat pack :( )

I'll let you know how they compare and how many I manage to attach to me / the bike in a couple of days.

Any recommendations for a lighter jersey/jacket than the Castelli Alpha Jacket? It's getting really warm now here in Scotland and I'm overheating. I was looking at the Gabba perhaps, not sure what the difference is between the Gabba 2 at £85 or the Gabba 3 at £130 though

These are great. Windstopper on the front and shoulders but more breathable material on the back so you don't overheat or get too sweaty.

haha, I thought I was running overkill! What did you go for in the end?

2 smart R1 clip on ones and something jobsworth, all £3 each from PX, and a proper moon comet X pro. And I already have a smaller cateye on the bike so it could be 5 rear lights :)

No, I live six miles away. I do work there though :D

A workshop stand would've been easier. It's a right pain indexing gears when you have to use one hand to hold the rear wheel off the ground :o Next purchase will probably be the perfetto 2 light jacket though if the weather stays warm, I also really want a power meter for the sole reason that we frequently get 25mph winds here and strava tells me I've put in 110W which is incredibly demotivating :x
Also just got some £47 wheels for the winter bike ... http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cosine-24mm-all ... -wheelset/ with 12% platinum discount then £10 off with the wigglelove code (now expired) then 5% cashback with amex then topcashback makes a super cheap wheelset, it'll be interesting to see what they're like

Bought this the other day, nice discount on it as well considering the season is just about to start.

a charge spoon .... I was happy with my saddles, they fit me fine for churning away at 65-70rpm ..... but Zwift workouts tell me to pedal at 90rpm for 30 mins, or 110rpm for 20 mins at 230watts ...... its really hurting my bum spinning away that fast, need to find something more comfortable .. by arse does not like to spin ,, bony little bastid

Schwalbe S-one tubeless tyres are expensive, around £42 each everywhere, so I've had a daily search going on eBay for weeks, finally turned up trumps and I got a new pair for £57 delivered

Try lowering your saddle a bit?

Other than they were the first I came across and cheap with free postage no particular reason.

2 pairs of these - The pad is effectively non-existant but it's enough to get me back on the bike without my ar*e hanging out after holing my Aldi ones

I bought some last spring - the rear kept on puncturing - utterly infuriating, so I replaced with a Michelin pro 4 endurance. The front on the other hand is still going strong after some >7k km (touch wood, as it has cut up quite badly!). In between the punctures, I really liked the tyres.

Thanks for the heads up. For £50 on the nose for a pair I couldnt say no.

ditto even though I've just swapped out my Michelin pro 4 SC for endurance v2 which are the dogs dangly in comfort grip and protection not to mention better rolling resistance.

I also have a pair of schwalbe aqua which frankly should have been on my bike today

the ones will go in the spares box (to age)

Have both! Great items, saddle bag does it really tight and doesn't flap about.

I'm still undecided whether to pull the trigger, partly because 28mm tyres are on the lower limit of my FatNotFat 29er wheels set (21mm inside rim width, but I do vaguely recall PX claiming they were ok in the blurb), but also because part of me thinks get the 23mm or 25mm to fit on my ageing Felt F5C.

But here is the real reason I'm posting...

http://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com ... ncher-2014 tested the 25mm version and they came up measuring 27mm, which might be tight for clearance on some speed demon frames.

been after a chain keeper for ages, saw it in the sale on wiggle
