Good luck with the gloves I found out recently that they are not waterproof for very long and not warm either.

Ok I have only gone and done it. It's wiped out my bonus so it had better be as good as the reviews have said.

Been getting hot lately, in the cold (!), because of layers that prove too warm after I have generated heat, so I have just sent off for one of these:

    http://www.edz.biz/bike/Product_pages/W ... shell.html

    so I don't need the fleece-over-the-merinos layer.
It'll be useful in the summer too.

  • Latest thing is a light that goes on the helmet. Black Diamond a mountainclimber company, made it. cut off the strap it came with and used a frame pump velcro strap to attach it to the front of my helmet. 3 led, hi beam, low beam, flashing. Bright enough to illuminuate the ground if my front light on the bike should disappear or die. Only problem is it makes me look like a prospector.

And a pic in action on my helmet:

Out of interest does anyone know what "Wiggle Complementary Bike Tools" comprise of? They have appeared on my Kiron/Racestand order sheet at Wiggle as a freebie.

I have had a pedal spanner and a set of allen keys as complimentary tools. Could be one of those.

I bought a lock ring for singlecross and hope to fit it tonight after cleaning my Felt.

    Random shopping day.

    - 2x 15mm headset spacers
    - Spoke key (I keep breaking the back wheel on the work bike)
    - Altura Winter Cruisers and an Altura Stream jersey
    - 700c inner tubes
    - Box of glueless patches
    - Specialized mini pump

    Think that's it :)

I like this thread, it lets me have conversations like:
    "When did you buy THAT?"
"I dunno ... couple of weeks ago?"
"You never told me you were going to get one of those."
    "Sure I did"
    "Did not"
"Did to - I posted it on BikeRadar, anyone can see it"

You have to do it when the tarmac is still hot.

Isn't it the climb which usually splits the field on the Milan-San Remo?

Well, it used to, before they all started using EPO.

They are nice shoes. Designed for Lance to go up the Alpe. Why then, considering he never entered the race, they were named after that particular climb, I do not know.
