    Jealous.

I picked one up in a shop once, and it made my CR1 feel sooo very heavy indeed

    The R2... 6.2 KG aren't they?

LOADS of cleaning stuff... I now have shares in Muc Off :D

Plus a rather excellent work stand that clamps the top bar and is allowing me to work very comfortably on the bike (for a change!)

BB removal tool, crank removal tool, koolstops on order, replacement batteries for the cycle comps and I've lost the manuals!

Just bought some rubber for in the tyres, not that I need them but at £2/tube including delivery you can't go wrong.

EDIT: Just ordered a chainstay protector and red welditie grease from the people in NI, hopefully they'll include a freebie bottle too.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Getting sore feet while wearing my usual Vans so I thought a proper cycling shoe should help with it's stiffer sole. Mega comfy straight away!

    I just bought a boat.

Its made of carbon fibre, only weighs 13kg, was stupifyingly expensive, is very pretty, probably won't go any faster than boats made 30 years ago when men were men, and it certainly wasn't a necessary purchase.

Does it qualify for this thread? There seem to be so many similarities....

Been another expensive week, but got everything I want now - so can just get on and enjoy the riding. Have been increasing the miles on the new steed. Loving it!

Ooooh - I am considering the same (slightly different colour scheme though) - did you find a good deal or was it more of a planned purchase?

Been wanting some for ages. However, I had some Giro Haviks and some Oakley Juliets so couldn't really justify it. Well, I gave myself a talking to and bought them anyway!

Actually, the Haviks have scratches across the lens from my left-hook and the Juliets, while lovely, are more a generic sport set of glasses rather than cycling specific. I find the frame limits visibility when shoulder-checking. I'm hoping the hydrophobic lenses of the Radars work as advertised: it's going to be sweaty on the marmotte ;)

I've looked around several times for the best prices but this time I was lazy and just did a search on amazon

Cool - I'm in a similar spot - I have a pair of Half-Jackets with 4 or 5 sets of lenses but the coverage when on the bike is just a little off. Plus they don't do vented lenses for the halfjackets, so I often find a can steam up the lenses on tough climbs and early mornings,

So, I have been considering some of the Radars but can't quite find the cojones to pay the RRP at the moment!!

Best of luck in the Marmotte, although having seen the speed you went past me on HOTA, I imagine you will be just fine!!
