Some swisstop pads, and a GP4000s as something has put a 1.5cm gash in my rear tyre this morning. Thats less that 200 miles on it.

    Argh,

They have been trying to get hold of me in Bermuda about the Day One Cross. They can't get me the 52 in the drop bar version only the flat bar.

As a result I am now getting the flat bar version but the guys at the shop are going to fit a drop bar to it. So effectively making it the same bike. Woo hoo. Just in Solver not bright orange.

Will buy myself some cane Creek SCR5 (Silly Commuter Racing??) levers to use on it as the stock ones are a bit pants.

+1, just got some of these to replace the rather old and wobbly wheels on the single speed - bargain!

My very first bike! (well, excluding the one when i was a kiddie 15+yrs ago). Scott Sportster P5.

And wow, what a difference from using a mates old MTB, so much quicker and less effort involved. I find myself going on 10mile detours on the way back from work through trails and quiet country lanes, good times :).

  • Bought some new jockey wheels:

    BDP12.jpg

Anyone know if fancy jockey wheels make even a tiny difference? I thought I'd give them a try, they aren't massively expensive but I have been experiencing some drive-train friction lately and the lower jockey wheel has worn to the point where it's knocking against the chain links.

Ceramic bearings, don't you know. **Adjusts large, jangley earrings. **

A 103mm Tange BB from Velosolo to replace the BB in the Tricross that has been protesting in the last few weeks. One year for the last BB seems rather a short lifespan with approx 2k miles.
