Scroll down and you'll find the model is naked  Is there any major differences between male and female armwarmers, other than colours perhaps?
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    New LH shifter, 105. Grr!

New Speedplay X2's - pedal body of old one shattered as a result of a piece of notable AT stupidity involving cobbles and water flooding from a reservoir, combined with gross overestimation of AT's ability, grip and reservior run-off flow rate last year.

New Conti 4 season 25c's to replace Gatorshins wrecked by cycling a mile on a gravel track with a flat last week.

New Pedro's tyre levers to replace the utterly useless Park tool ones that snapped trying to get old Gatorskin onto rim immediately prior to cycling a mile ona a gravel track with a second flat.

New tube to replace tube perforated by my efforts to get old conti Gatorskin onto rim with stumps of useless Park tool tyre levers.

A pair of Mavic Aksium wheels. My first "proper" wheels, I sat indoors for a while just spinning them on their axles for a while, no hint of a grindy feeling at all, superb.

Good wheels, watch out for potholes because you can't buy replacement rims

It is a catalogue of over-priced cycling tat, with the exception of the pedals, which is more "overweight cycling tvvat".

Does this go for Ksyrium equipes too?!

I just bought 2x Continental GP4000S tyres for my bike.. fitted them, and the logos aren't quite lined up. But I was going to take them off again anyway, just to loosen them up (makes roadside repairs easier!)

Need to check my rims too... they've done quite a lot of miles :?

Aksiums are good wheels. Mine served me well for nearly 6000miles on and off road miles before I wore the rims out. I think rim replacement is possible (at least my LBS claimed to be able to get them with about a week lead time). I still bought some wheels with Open Pro rims anyway. Cheaper and faster to replace in the event of issues.

You can get replacements for the higher end Mavic wheels IIRC. I think you can even get them from some of the online retailers.

And at the other end of the scale, on the weekend I bought a "RD-AT115"....

The little barrel adjuster on older Campag rear derailleurs. Mine broke when trying to tune the gears on the indoor trainer. Typically its the sort of thing that a LBS mechanic will find when they rummage through one of their magic boxes.

The closest/easiest to get to LBS's are Hellfrauds and Evans, so I didn't hold much hope of finding a spare there. TBH I figured that I was unlikely to find a replacement and might have to resort to buying a second hand derailleur to scavenge or buy a new one. I was peeved that such a little thing could be such a problem.

Checked the Interweb anyway and found 2 sites that sold them, one didn't have it in stock and the other did :D. £0.99 for the bolt and £4.00 for shipping!!

Just wanted to share my experience of how satisfying such a small purchase can be.
  • Had a brace of eBay purchases last night, both auctions won for £11.50 precisely. Firstly I got a second pair of Biemme bib-shorts. Now I've bought all I want, I'll mention that Parker International are selling them off on eBay. First pair I got were £16, these were £11.50. They are really VERY comfortable.

Secondly, I got a Deuter Race backpack (second hand), but for £11.50, I thought that was still on the bargain side. The seller hadn't put it in the cycling category, so it was cheap ;)
