Cheers for that Biondino, have just bagged a pair, couldn't find any reviews anywhere, but it's a good deal, and windtex, so hopefully will be good - would be interested to hear what you make of yours.
Also bagged a pair of these:

Hehe - I'd have had those Cannondale tights if I was still a 31"-33" waist...

Yeah, I'll let you know how the Shimano bibtights are. I'm slightly nervous I'll have bought a pup because of the magic words "50% off" - and I'm not sure at all about the stirrups - but hopefully they'll be fine for the commute at least.

Was havering over using Westbrook Cycles to order a new jacket as I'd never heard of them but they were coming up as cheapest on searches. Found someone in this thread had used them and was happy so went for it. Took all of 14 minutes from placing order to receiving email saying it had been dispatched and 48 hours later the jacket arrives at my door. So, another big up to Westbrook.

It was an Endura Stealth BTW and 35 quid cheaper than I would have paid at the Earl's Court cycle show on Friday if they'd had my size.

You see now this is why I hate this thread, I happened to mosey over to their site and happened to look at the gloves and then happened to spot:

    campagnolo-c720-system-thermo-glove-1454-369.jpg

For £25, which they say is £20 less than RRP, other sites say the RRP is £60. Bargain alert!

Normally I avoid Halford stores and wouldn't come near them with a bargepole! (<---- for the benefit of our ethic minorities out there, this is an English expression)

But today I actually bought something form them, and think they are fantastic, the best I ever saw! I am talking about frame patches to prevent cable rub etc etc. For just a few quid, you can get their set of thick transparent stick on patches which are made from an especially tough and resistant almost rubber like material.

I tested a spare one out, by sticking it to a bit of scrap wood, and then rubbing at it like mad with a screwdriver. It took ALOT of effort to etch a simple mark into it!

I am almost embarassed to say this about a Halford product, but I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM! Proper kit! Other frame patches just don't come anywhere close!

    KK.

Ah ok, that kind of makes me wonder if I should have just gone for 2 of the cannondales.....
I'm around a 32/33" waist at the mo, but can get thet down a bit with a bit more running.

I'm sure the shimano ones will be good quality, I have some tights with stirrups, and they are very useful, no riding up issues at all.

I imagine we will probably get them around the same time, so I will post my thoughts also.

I guess I can always send one pair back if one seems loads better than tuther,

    Cheers

    Just picked up from establishments...

dff003a174c271725b5d4c81fa4c0093.jpg For the new hardtail (I've already got the silver ones on the Pompino, and didn't see the need to spend anymore - not 100% sure about the colour, but they were out of stock of the silver, and the black will scuff up something chronic. Maybe I could put the white ones on the Pompino to match the Empella Froggslegs...!?

    MET_Veleno_white.jpg
And this, again, for a spot of offroad, as I've already caught my bonce on a low branch, and I don't want to trash my nice roadie helmet offroad (plus this one has a peak, which will be useful.

And then on the way in time for a cyclocross race are these... vicxg-1.jpg
Cannondale Synapse 105, Giant Defy 3, Giant Omnium, Giant Trance X2, EMC R1.0, Ridgeback Platinum, On One Il Pompino...

Just ordered some reflective tape and some spokey-dokes (I blame SaraJoy for those  ). Not sure that was a good idea considering the state of our postal service but looking forward to having fun with the spokey-dokes when they eventually arrive.

Which size did you order? I have been thinking about buying the same top but I am wondering how long the sleeves are? I don't know if I am an XL or an XXL! :(
