However, might bring in big bucks from the family to get a new bike..fingers crossed.
  • Just think 21 means you're more then halfway to 40!

Unfortunatly I'm not that far from being 3/4 of the way! :(

No pics but the snow's still here in summy Lancs. I've got a pile 5ft high on my drive where I cleared it the other day. Would have been brilliant out riding today but I'm stuck inside decorating and waiting for my bits to heal up.

The bits in question are the dangly (sp?) bits between my legs, vasectomy last week

Alright here's a couple of pics from this morning.

We are quite high up in the Pennines I suppose, the house is at 1100 ft and the hills in the photo top out at 1400 ft about 3/4 of a mile from the house :D .

Bear in mind these photos were taken after 4 days of melting

You're welcome to it. It's beginning to get annoying. The pavements and road around our estate are covered in 2 inches of compacted snow ice, very lethal.

  • Good pictures Jon, I like!

Plus I can say I've been there! and I wouldn't fancy driving/riding/walking up the road that leads to your house!

Had another dusting last night and what came down last week still isn't shifting. can't remember it lying on the ground for so long. My back lawn is still covered in 3 inches of snow and the council still haven't cleared one of the big drifts blocking a local road (and it's frozen solid now)

thebluefox, I'll put some in a jiffy and post it down to you. Bound to get there without melting with our postal system
