I'm with ashburnham, ain't nothing goiung on the frame... I still think your commuting bag is best for this as we're commuting and it doesn't ruin the aerodynamics of your beast.

    As for slogans

go on keep drafting, I've just let one go... and with you, that's two.

    try and keep up

go on make your move... scared?

    Times vary...

I'm always happy to find some worthy competition...

    Bring it on

Fast hybrid (dark grey Genesis): 7
    Baggies: +1
Panniers: +1 (well a Carradice saddlebag but it's got wooden bits so I figure that's at least +1)
    Toe clips: +1
FCN: 10 (nothing to lose in other words)

Now steady on Matty Hopkins. You ride a Prince, while I ride an unbranded, alu frame, which bears my own dodgy paint job.

What if we have alternatives: say, tape for folk with bikes like mine, and bespoke courier bag badges for tarts riding carbon? :D

Inserting whichever slogan you want in place of "TARGET"

Thought you commuting warriors could use these quotes from Arnie, from back when he was a bodybuilder rather than a wrinkly governor, for a spot of inspiration....

For me life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer.

My instinct was to win, eliminate anyone who is in competition, destroy my enemy, and move on without any kind of hesitiation at all.

....a bit too long for embroidering on a pannier unfortunately.

Oohhh I like this one....motto of the Game any one??

Instinctively win, eliminate anyone who is competition, destroy the enemy, and move on without any kind of hesitiation at all.

It would be like the cub scout law thingy, and we could take an oath of allegiance

    Everyone together...

    I {insert name here}

    promise to instinctively win,

    eliminate anyone who is competition,

    destroy the enemy,

and move on without any kind of hesitiation at all

hang on....that sounds a bit neo KKK...maybe when we are more committed, and instead of patches we have tatoos...now I'm even scaring myself...

By the way if anyone fancies an easy scalp this evening I'll be heading home from Mayfair via Hyde Park South Ken Kings Road Albert Bridge to Battersea around 6.30.

The reason for the easy scalp is a week off the bike due to gut wrenching stomach bug so having lost kilos I'll save in weight but being weak as a kitten I have the pulling power of a new born gerbil at the moment

I reckon we should get shorts (baggys, lycras, bibs, full tights the works) printed up with this on the backside.

I always thought that the phrase all the fighters say to each other as a greeting in the film Gladiator would be a good motto to have tattooed in large gothic font accross the shoulders. Or, for the purposes of this more modern city centre combat it could easily be tippexed onto a work rucksack, schoolboy style, or around a bicyle clip (for those Gamers with a high FCN wearing their work trousers).

    That phrase? Strength and Honour.
