I'm only coming from the Duke of York steps on the Mall, but my chronic sense of direction will proably let me down as I navigate through Victoria.

What time you leaving? I'm round on Broadway, not far from the Mall.....
If you want directions I can try and find you first!

If not just head towards Victoria and follow Vauxhall Bridge Road straigh down. When you get to the Embankment turn left and the pub is about 20 yards up, same side of the road on the corner!

Can I take you up on that offer, please, BJ? Every time I cycle or walk around Victoria I get hopelessly lost. I can leave work anytime I want (I'm doing bugger all, after all)...

How about at the junction of Broadway and Petty France at 5.40?

I'll leave here at 4.30 - that should give me time to get lost and refound.

That's why I refer to the wife as "the other half" and not Mrs BJ

Sixth person. Were there poor woman to use the short form of Mary - May - she'd be in a world of trouble. She would so have to keep her mouth shut at all times (see what I've done there?).

That surname seems to have dropped out of use over the last 100 years or so. Not difficult to see why. They probably never did get round to making babies...

    I'm preparing to leave.

I should be at the Pub by circa 1730 - "have" to leave by 1900hrs.

Like an eeejut i've forgotten to bring a lock - will anyone be there by that time?

Jaysus christ G66! I always assumed I was the one with loads of spare time at work, but searches like that are sure to set off filters at work

Does look like an unfortunate name to have, sorta like the Chinese fashion model "Ming Er" Unfortunately google is failing me on this one as I can't find photo proof!

Also I'm not in 3/4 tights.......normal baggie combat shorts over lycra :D

Not really. I just joined the traffic and then went straight to warp 9.

I confess to being relieved that the whole thing was not, as I feared, a Met Police sting operation...

The speed at which you sped away was commented upon. A bit like that bit at the end of the Empire Strikes Back when the M. Falcon zips into hyperspace.

On other matters, it appears the Prince is alive and well. I've just seen Mr Ashburnham riding his faithful steed through Kingston. Did they sort it Jash?

What's this theory about women being able to multi-task?

This woman discovered this morning that she can't all at the same time come to an emergency stop on a steep hill, change down on her gears and unclip as she keels over.

I then laying flailing around like a dying fly under my bike for a few seconds before a passing pedestrian lifted it off me.

Most embarrassing. And I have a huge bruise on my left leg.

It was really good to meet the 7 of you on Friday night.

Glad to hear your OK, funny you mention it as I was only chatting yesterday with snooks and DDD at the Freewheel about how easy it was to unclip in an emergency, I find the less I try to think about it the easier it is :-S

Not much to report for this morning's commute, did go past an accident on South Lambeth Road. Not sure if it was a cyclist or ped as I thought it was a bus stop and filtered round the traffic only to see someone in an orange flouro jacket on the floor!
I was also chasing a scumbag RLJ on an old school Bianchi. He didn't ride through the light but instead hopped off, ran across the junction and remounted on the other side. Not "technically" a RLJ as he wasn't a vehicle whilst running with his bike but still cheating in my opinion!

Did 2 cars on the downhill section near my house if they count

took the folder intoday and took 6 in a row on tower bridge, they were all lined up nice for up on the incline with surprislingly few cars

then it became a race against the bridge itself when the gates started closing... I beat them too
