To the woman and man pedestrians using the HORSE part of the crossing, what's the problem with a cyclist using it too when it is not being used by Horses? tad hypocritical no...Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.0

In no particular order
1. POS M520 pedal, the bearing of which has died after less than 18 months, then seized itself into the crank.*
2. POS Icetoolz stamped metal pedal spanner that might as well have been made of cheese, which not only failed to remove no. 1 above, but is now so mangled as to be useful only for scrap.
3. Dopey cyclist who followed the RLJing coach off the end of Southwark Bridge this morning straight across my path and then tried to complain that I'd jumped a red.
4. Aggressive King's Ferry coach driver that nearlt barged abother rider off at every junction form VB to PS, then when we both got in front of her, tailgated us right up to the lights.
* said pedal also has some little manufacturing flaw which means it chews through cleats at the rate of about one every 6 months - even in it's short life, I have spent more on cleats than the pedals cost in the first place.

Numpty drivers today (I agree with what people have posted in other threads. Rain?)
Plus first puncture in about half a year means it must be autumn, silly tyre didn't want to sit on the rim properly either so took several times longer to replace than it should have.FCN 9 || FCN 50 -

Stupid bint!
Speeding upto a junction and dipping your bonet over the line whilst not looking right is dumb.
Yes you made me whack on the brakes, and yes I uttered some words under my breath.
And why is it the only time I seem to come across annoying drivers is a few roads from home, out of the city. These drivers don't seem switched on and are always in a bloody rush. Grrr

Hot, headwind and find I'm being secretly drafted by a guy rigged out in Glasgow CC lycra that I'd said hello to earlier in town. Pull out and tell him it would be polite for him to let me know he's there or take his turn at the front. He gets huffy and drops back to let me "go and have fun on my own". So I do and drop the bu**er off the back. Maybe my own fault, maybe I should have kept a look out, but he wasn't doing SCR, he was just freeloading :evil:Coffee is not my cup of tea

Been off the bike for four days, getting withdrawal symptoms.... but back on today, but being a nice day there were a lot of fair-weather cyclists about...
so when I have overtaken you all and then stopped at a red light, WHY do you crawl in front, partially RLJ then pull away slightly slower than a hibernating three toed-sloth?... why not just learn to CYCLE FASTER!
and to the idiot in Regents Park this evening with the high powered WHITE flashing rear facing light... while I applaud your desire to be seen... blinding everyone behind you isn't going to win you too many friends, so don't get uppity when people point out its illegal. And yes the Mini did try to undertake you on the left at the lights, probably cos he thought you were coming towards him on the right seeing as he'd have difficulty seeing you behind the WHITE light!Invacare Spectra Plus electric wheelchair, max speed 4mph0 -

Damn Halfords so-called Professional tools; I've just managed to twist one of their Torx sockets into what would be quite a pleasing shape, if it wasn't for the fact that I was trying to fit a new disc to my front wheel. To add insult to injury, one of the bolts stripped too. And their till service...... :roll:0

Tightening it? I was undoing it0

Halfords professional tools are usually very good, I have given them serious abuse on old cars in the past. I am pretty sure they also have a lifetime guarantee. Take it back for replacement.0

According to the website, an original receipt seems to be required which isn't something I could lay my hands on. I might try it anyway next time I'm near one.0

Don't worry. Gravity is your friend here. Just as sure it helped you down that hill, it shall reap vengeance on granny by making her hang down and drop out. :twisted:0

EPO had a job interview early this morning. So I had to take motorbike, drop our daughter off at school then carry on to work. Well, that was the plan.
After a nice leisurely start to the morning I went to get the motorbike out of the garage. Keys? Suddenly realised the EPO has my keys as well as her own. Can't get into the garage. All of my bikes are in the garage. Motorised and otherwise. I need to be at work by 9, usual start time is 8.30.
Took the EPO's shopping bike. Nasty '70's folder with 3 speed that is far too small for me. Dropped little'un at school then to work. That was really hard, all cramped up in the wrong position.
Good news is that anything on 2 wheels was fair game as I was easily bottom of the food chain. Scalped a couple of hybrids on the way in.0 -
Topeak Mini-Morph pump. All well and good but where did the damn valve go. Wandsworth Bridge to Knightsbridge is a long walk. Grrrr!0

All you southern softies* get lurvely Indian Summer boil-in-the bag weather whilst we hardy haggis-eaters have to endure "normal" weather - howling wind, peeing with rain, dark until about 8am..... grrrrr.

Cyclist on NKR tonight,m before pulling out do at least one of the following ideally both. Look over your shoulder to see if it safe to pull our or stick you freaking arm out. Had you done either or those I we would not of collided, how either of us stayed up has a lot more to do with my bike handling skills than yours.
