Thorndon has dried out a bit over the last week, some is more churned up than last week, but the leafy parts have become faster.

Had a really good ride of 3 or so hours this morning (Sat) and the big yellow orb was in the sky.

Shall be over there at 9 am Sunday.

Twas a good ride at Thorndon today with a group of four, this was the meet at 9am southern car park. I was out for 5 1/2 hours and pedalled my little legs to their limit.

Saw more bikes out than I have for the last few weeks, must be preparing for Christmas dinner.

I'm going out Boxing Day for a few hours to wear off the excesses of Christmas Day and prepare for Boxing Day dinner.

Thanks robertpb for giving us a great tour round Thordon and Warley. Also thanks to yetiman for getting us togehter. You all missed a great morning out. Happy Christmas to everybody and we will ride again soon in the New Year. 8)

Aye, many thanks to robertpb for a great ride and for showing us many unknown (atleast to me) routes around the area. Well worth staying up for after a night shift.

Lets hope we can get a few more out in the New Year.

Thorndon has dried out quiet a bit over the past week, that's because 9 days without rain and some stiff winds.

Been over there the past 3 days and it's been very quiet, must be all those bargain hunters going to Lakeside to judge by the level of traffic on the M25.

Very good conditions over at Thordon today.

Had a very good ride with Steve and Greg.

Someone took the mud away, came back without a speck of mud on me.

Mind you the ground was frozen, but most of the trails over the last two weeks have been rolled flat again.

Glad I took the Trailracker off the back and replaced it with the Minion
