    not bad mark, you guys ride past my place about half 9 ish?? wife said she saw a group go past??
    had a good ride arond as many bridleways as possible that run from Smokeys to Threemilestone to carnondowns to devoran and back on the trail, just shy of 20 miles when we got back, bags of laughs though! some great bridleways in that area, used a couple that are on the Chacewater killer loop up around billybrays chapel and down, did realise half way down a Very fast section of very bumpyness that left the forks in lock out lol! no way was i reaching down to adjust them! still made it down a fair bit quicker than some full sussers with seats down etc.! :wink:

    legs are hurting some now though as havent been on the bike for 3 weeks for health related reasons, but was worth it, need a new middle ring as mines toast too which made it fun back from bissoe with granny and big hahah! but all paves way for the E-thirteen bash i have sat infront of me and the 36t ring stashed away down the barn! :wink:

    It was the front rings that was the problem, the rear ran lovely.

    Cold legs ugh, that wasn't so much the problem, it was my not eating enough and running out of steam in north country, :(

    I will be out today for sure, as im sure you are, i have the lurgy and feel like crap, but there's no way im missing out not when rain is coming.

    Yeah he was good, was very much up for a natter, i got talking about mud & sweat, he wants me to enter but im unsure, insurance this month, it's on in what 2 weeks today and you can enter on the day so i'll have a think about it, i have been in better form of late.

    Also mentioned how someone wanted a £3 per car parking fee. ;)

    Anyway i can certainly see myself going there more often, far more friendly and not the slightest bit aloof. :)

    Hello all.

    Just spent a long weekend at Afan. OMG :shock: that place is amazing! Did The Wall twice, although my rear shock lost all its air at the top second time resulting in a long walk back to the campsite :evil: and Whites Level twice. How spoilt am I feeling, where can I go now to compare? Climbing was hard going in the heat but I wasnt going to complain too much about the weather especially as I felt sure in the weeks leading up the trip it was going to rain. What fun I had though, if the forecast for this weekend was any good Id be there again!

    South Downs Way in a few weeks so really need to cram in as many miles as possible. Going to try and do my 30 plus mile ride every other day from now until 26th June!!

    I won't be doing the event neither, been thinking and no way im paying £50 for a poxy ride in the county, and on my doorstep at that just to prove how fast i am, bugger that i'll nip down for a pasty n pint of course. ;)

    £50 being entry plus other sundries i have to buy.

    )

    £28, plus £7 for a map board plus extra for a compass and first aid kit, those are the minimum requirements to enter.

    Nice saddle, i tend to switch between the charge spoon and bel air, i prefer the bel air as it's more sofa like.
