Actually, the spacers in that pic of mine was from my other bike which didn't fit. Had to put them there to make the handlebars actually reachable.0

Thank goodness for that! We all had the impression they were spoiling that bike."There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, t'would be a pity to damage yours."0 -

I've still got this bike, but have recently acquired loads of spares for free from a bike shop that went bust, so in the past few months i've been building up bike after bike after bike. I have 7 in my basement. 8)
I'm actually thinking of giving them away for free! I've got 6 winter bikes now!
Might be moving to France soon, so I need to do something with em!0 -
Spesh been tarted/pimped some more. Sorry about the wall, got nowhere large & white enough to fit in to the rules0 -

Dear Mr Sarkozy,
I think that there's something you should know.............................."There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, t'would be a pity to damage yours."0 -

With a torso like your avatars, can I ask why you have a compact? All upper body and no legs? :-)0
-
Ha, no, but I have done NO cardio training for 5 years, apart from when I was cutting into condition. So double comp for now, TBH fallen in love with the sport so will be dropping couple of k on a new bike next summer I think, will go to double then!
So my legs are a decent size, just not for the long haul, and i have dropped from 17 stone 3, to a light 15.1 stone, and going down to 14.5/14 stone.0 -
Why do trek do a such awesome looking bright green amazing looking frame and then put low spec sora on it? First time I seen that bike I thought it'd be expensive, but they put low spec stuff on, not saying it's crap cause it is'nt, just it looks like somethihing you'd have ultegra or higher on0

Well im either going to get a Planet X carbon with Dura on next summer or, just pop a Ultegra groupset on it.
I didnt want to sink too much on my first road bike as I sank £2k on a mountain bike before, and hardly used it, I am however training on this 4 times a week.
Frames handles really well. So I have no problem putting a higher end group on it, but carbon is so tempting, and the SL Carbon looks brilliant in blue!0 -

Next you're going to tell me that you actually ride your bike!
You're supposed to ride it? I thought they were just for spending money on.0 -

Here's mine, a 2009 Trek 1.5 compact that I picked up today:
The spec is supposed to be Sora front mech, Tiagra rear, but for some reason, this one has Tiagra front and back . I did have a scare with the front shifter where it seemed that it had stopped working, and the thumb shifter was locked up, but that seems to have cleared. However, I suspect it needs a little adjustment.
I managed to scare myself a little the first time I went down on the drops, as I hadn't ridden like that for over 20 years, and it came as a bit of a shock! Baby steps needed...
Overall, I'm very pleased with it .
EDIT - rear reflector has been removed, and the bell will likely be going as well .0 -
Nice shade of blue there...0

What wheels are they?0 -
they look like lightweight wheels, but I may well be wrong!0
-
More like Zipp 303 / Hed / American classics, Lightweights have thick carbon spokes.0
