That is fugly. I mean I am sure the quality of the finish is superb, but it just looks a little too much like a cut and shunt, 2 bikes into one."Bed is for sleepy people.
Let's get a kebab and go to a disco."

Sorry but I've got two issues with this:
1 - I thought the point of this thread was to show people our own bikes, not to trawl throught the internet to come up with pictures of other people's (as there's loads of other places you can do that).
Although that's not really an issue, the bigger problem is:
2 - This is possibly one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. Buying a really expensive bike frame, and then having a really intricate custom paint job (I've read the article, you can't deny the workmanship that went into it) to make it look like a motorbike. A sodding motorbike! Both have two wheels, and there the similarity ends. I mean, I don't paint my car to look like a rally car - Why not? because I'd look an utter fool driving round in it - much the same as the owner of this bike might look when out for a spin.
I think I'm right in saying that the creator of this has got 'previous' as they're also the owner of a BMW F1 liveried bike. Once is a mistake, twice shows something - though I'm not too sure what...

I think this looks great with the Toupe. Only two bottle cages, no silly stickers or cards in the spokes. Titanium, SRAM Rival, Force and Chris King. I love it.

What wheels are those? What happened to your last wheels?0

They are Chris King hubs on Mavic CXP 33 rims. I ebayed the others.0 -
ive just built this up for use as a cheap roadbike as i had to sell my proper roadbike when i was made redundant, as i had a bulging spares box ive managed to keep the cost down to around £130 using a lot of mtb bits and bobs ive collected over the years such as a complete sram x-7 group. i know its not exactly a `roadbike` as its a cross frame but its all i can afford at the moment and i like it.
who cares?0 -
Looks like a nice versatile bike._______________________________

Heh heh, sorry, posting using my Wii :shock: Got a bit confused!!0

The last bike I built looks a bit odd in comparison. And my parts box at home didn't have quite so much good stuff in it as K2rider's._______________________________

Just finished;
Planet-X frame and forks, SRAM Rival (mostly) and FSA finishing kit.
Fulcrum cranks and Spesh bottle cages;
And the very lovely and 1370g-a-pair Novatec Sprints
Bathroom scales seem to think 16.2 lbs without pedals, which at under £1600 all-in I'm chuffed with. Out tonight to fine tune riding position and then a decent ride tomorrow.
Oh, and I know the garage door needs a bit of attention!0 -
I see you've been looking at the OCP guidelines!
Love the look of the Novatec hubs, look like good wheels...0 -
