My good bike out for summer runs

Sorry, can't say anything good in this forum, so in true Obsessive Compulsive Poseur (OCP) style here are a few pointers on your picture / bike (not necessarily my opinions, just to warn you that you may not get positive comments from some perfectionist forum members on your fantastic looking bike)-
Italian bike should have Campagnolo on it and nothing else. (It's irrelevant that Shimano Ultegra SL is excellent and the frame is made in Taiwan)
Crankarm should be lined up with the chainstay or seat tube.
Tyre valves should be at 6 o'clock position
Tyre emblems should be lined up with wheel emblems.
Background should be a white garage door.
Bike should be photographed flat from the side.0 -

How do you find the DA wheels? I have the low profile carbon clinchers but was tempted by these, reasonable weight for an aero clincher...0

Yeah, very light spool up fast, and its easy to keep them rolling at high speed.
I don't imagine there's much difference between the lower profile and the 50mm ones to be honest save for a few brown trouser moments in high crosswinds with the 50mm's
I had toyed with the idea of taking the decals off, unsure as yet.Rock 'n' Roule0 -
I don't think i've posted this since the recent tyre change...
it cleaned up amazingly!!!! And i managed to get the cranks to a mirror finish.0 -

Apart from just under £400 cheaper and half a pound in weight lighter at the rim....
heh heh.
Leave the decals on, looks good in my opinion.
I may indulge just for bling purposes more than anything else.0 -

Urgh, that thing is hideous and should not be posted on the forum, I mean, look at the spacers below and ABOVE the stem FFS!!!!!!11!11!!!!
It's not a high end brand name, people with bikes this ugly should be banned from the internet and made to sign on the s*x offenders register at their local police station.0 -

Woo Hoo! OCPtastic!
Looks great, how are you finding the frame?0 -

Cheers.
Really enjoying the ride at the moment! Nursing a dodgy knee back to health since I've had it so haven't been able to really try it out in anger yet.
It feels lovely to ride & yet when you turn the wick up a bit it just wants to go. Actually i'm surprised how quick the turn of pace is! Power transfer really is instant.
I just need to be able to do it justice0 -
When someone says riding a bike out in anger it conjurs this up!

Hope your knee gets sorted soon and you have some fun on it.0 -
Propor picture of my bike, crap quality soz, crap K800i phone.0 -
Will, you need to follow the OCP regulations!
Chain on BIG chain ring, crank arm following the line of the chainstay or seat tube so it doesn't obscure the frame...
Please see here!

Otherwise you have made a very discerning choice of bike!0 -
Not anything fancy but she's mine. Last year's Trek 1.7. Havn't changed anything except the saddle which is a Selle SLR. Oh and I just bought a Garmin Edge 705. My next buy will be some decent wheels as I could easily drop half a kilo in weight off the bike. Quite want some aero rims. Zipp 303 clinchers are my current favourite.

Never knew it was complicated posting pictures.
No point me posting a different one on a white background with it in big little it wont make it look any different will it now?0 -
just uploaded my pics from New Zealand, I was in Taupo when there was a bike race (Rotorua-Taupo) I took a couple of photos of bikes I liked. I also went to the bike shop and snapped some Pics. Here they Are.

Well here this is the best I can do and I think it's fine.
Just did 33 miles on it today, was going to do club run but with the old saddle and my knees I did not fancy 124 miles today. It was riding supreme on the way home tho, hardly any wind, cruising at 20mph, I just drop up a gear then onto the drops and up I go to 24-25 and sit there 8)
Great bike, love it, well worth £935.0 -
Super!0

Nice one willhub you must let me know how that saddle works out, i've been meaning to try one myself.Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.

Well the seat needs some tinkering, in the pic it's totally flat, I find it needs to be sloped down abit.0

Thought I'd add mine here as well, 2009 CAAD9 slightly warmer than stock.
Toupe saddle is feeling better every ride, Raceface cranks look the part, I'm even happy with the shimano "cheap" wheels, great for training rides.

You Nearly got the full white background in there!0 -
White background is fine, bike flat to camera but where to start with the rest?
Shame, because it looks like a nice bike
Picked up my Look today.
It may quench my thirst for steel.
That said I can't ride them anyway!0
