Nice but seat looks too far forward. Why not try moving it back then you may be able to drop the post down a bit too...

That is a hideous amount of spacers under your stem....does it not look wrong to you? Ditching a few of those would do more for its looks than the gold chain....

I have long legs/short torso for my height. Also I can sit right back on that saddle for comfort, its a lot like the arione in that respect.

New + shiny bike does not necessarily equal nice to look at that is all.....a lot of the bikes on here are f*ugly to say the least....I feel no need to comment on your family members thank you.

I agree some don't look the best however there are some stunners too.

Maybe the guy with the spacers has a bad back or mobility problems?

Was fitting a carbon seatpost today and though i'd take a snap. Pretty standard apart from Toupe chair and the carbon post.

For the most extensive gallery of beautiful road, track and time trial bikes check the facebook group: Beauty and the bike. Over 1000 photos and still growing. It will certainly motivate you if you are buying a new bike to try out some more interesting and less well known manufacturers as well as giving you great ideas for new builds or modifications.

Nab You incredibly disrespectful. These bikes are peoples Pride and Joy and the amount that people spend to increase their performance, to increase their comfort, and to make it look better in their own eyes. So you are being incredibly disrespectful to the owners of those bikes, and if I posted my bike up on here and some ar*e like you said my bike was 'f*ck ugly' I would not be best please especially after thinking 'yea I want to put my bike on there because I think it looks great and I think other people will like it to' and when some c*ck like you comes along because you CANT afford a lush looking bike and to demorolise other people because your so ashamed of your bike that to make yourself feel better to come on here and take the wee-wee out of other people. I also think that your attitude is not what this forum is about and if you are going to carry on the way you are, you should find another forum because I for one will not take that attitude, So change your tone or get out and don't come back.

Managed to actually compete with this. Actually even managed to put in a few attacks. Pity I got blocked by a crash with just a few laps to go.

Oh dear you are criticising my 'bad attitude' but you seem to have plenty of it yourself. How do you know I can't afford a 'lush' looking bike?? Do you mean a bike that looks like it was put together by a drunkard...there are plenty of those on here already

I,ve tried to look at the facebook group Beauty and the bike and i get a reply which says that i need to be invited to join this group. I have applied to join this group but never recieved a reply. What,s the point of having a collection of the best photos of beautiful bikes if only a select group of people can view them.

Excellent upto now, have only done about 600Kms on them but so far so good. The wheels that came with the bike were Campag Khamsin, so anything is an improvement really.

Well I don't have a bad back or mobility problems but I do have a very comfy position on my bike thanks.

Or are your eyes considerably better than my nerve endings? You will be pleased to know it now has a silver chain rather than the spare one that was in the picture. ;)

Before you start giving people tips try learn about cycling

everyone has a comfortable place on the bike and most cyclist would rather go fast and be comfortable than be riding on a perfect looking bike just because you are comfortable like that doesnt meen someone else is

And just for the record the chain is probably titainium nitrate

The chain is most definitely not TiN - it would probably have cracked if it was, for the record the chain is probably a TiN coated steel (just like drill bits).

Could someone please post a picture of their new, shiny bike? Otherwise this thread is becoming some kind of b!tchy pedants club.

Sorry to complain, but I like to dip in here to see what other people are riding, from second-hand 200-quid jobbies to full-carbon-everything bling. They're all worth a look at, because they're what we ride.

I'm afraid things are getting too far off topic...

I'd put something up myself, but am in the middle of a bike build. I promise I'll contribute when it's finished.

Some very nice bikes in here, I've commented as I feel that "NaB" character is a total and utter cock, absolute arrogant egotistical loser. I expect he has come on here as he has no friends in the real world. Loser!

Very nice bikes everyone :) I'm hoping to switch from MTB to Road in the Summer.
