Ade you think everything is a bit kinky - you're a bad influence on us young impressionables ;)

Just spent the afternoon servicing my bikes and swapping components over. The XTC now has the Rebas back on it so is back to its former glory. I might take it out next time we ride Blean, it's good to have the old girl back 8)

As for the Trance - it's transformed with the Revelations on. Just ask Russ - i wouldn't shut up about it when we rode last week!

I had to take both bikes out for a quick test ride around town with my usual circuit of steps and small dropoffs. Shh - don't tell the physio!!

At least we have the cycle show to look forward to at the end of the week.

    How did your interview go?

BTW cranks fell off my comute bike on friday so have had to come to work on my "good" bike.

Yeah thats going to be good, what sort of time do you want to get there for? Ive got a work mates leaving curry in the evening so ive got to go from earls court all the way over to work. Im considering bringing my foldup as it will beat having to get the tube. Are you still going to drive? is it close to earls court where your be parking as i wouldnt mind leaving my foldup in you car if thats ok? thats if you can be seen dead with a foldup. Ill proberly be getting the train into victoria.

Ive got a picture of you riding along and the cranks falling off, hahahaha. You could go practise your drop off techniques on the loading bays at lunch.

Next monday ive got a chiropracter appoitment at 5pm for my buggered shoulder (the kitesurfing royally screwed it up again), so the ride will have to be an early one.

Interview went well thanks, i felt i impressed them but you never can tell if your saying the right things. Should hear back this week sometime, fingers crossed.

Would anybody fancy here putting a team together for either a 12 hour or 24 hour race? im not hugely competitive and dont think id ever enter a solo xc race but the thought of a team event sound good fun.

anyone? ill do the night shift if i have to, i know you 9 - 5ers couldnt hack it.

Hope to park at the Earls court itself and its fine to leave the fold up in the car.

Luckly the crank feel of at slow speed and about 500 yards from home :D should be fixed tomorrow.

Early is good for me as always for a ride as i have to pick up the kids.

Sure you did well at the Interview...

I was just typing exactly the same thing

I'm up for that too. I was just looking on the net today, inbetween busy moments  , and dreaming about riding The Great Divide. 2,500 miles of American/Mexican off-road 8)

Anyway any ideas where, when, etc?

Good good, looks like we have a team forming already! What shall we call our selves?I will have a look at some events if we have not missed them all, if not get we can get training for next season.

Ok guys very funny, believe it or not i am not competitive, ive never entered a competition in my life. During my whole skating period i never entered one competition. I like a challenge and i like pushing myself and others to do new things, ive never been competitive to prove myself to others or myself during an actual competition.

You sure you wanna call us Goats? Have a look here for why I think it's not the best name.

And if you're really feeling brave.... do a Google Search (this is with moderate filter!) with filtering switched off for more reasons why Goats(e) is not a great name for a team.

    Next suggestion please

p.s. The world wide interweberizer's a wonderful place

Ha! 3 edits already!!! Oh no! This makes it 4

Still thinking about Sharpay then Russ?

I like 'Crash Team Racing' - definitely has a good ring to it. I didn't think you went for those "slags on tour" shirts Russ ;) Good design though Ade. Whose lottery winnings are paying for the shirts??

Any idea on a potential date for this?

Nick with you being the most experienced "crasher" it would only seem right for you to be the Crash Team manager. :D

They had HSM girls on BBC morning show, i certainly would not have turned either down.

Fingers crossed for this saturdays lotto draw!

You can get tshirts printed up for about £15 each, i got some done for a Kitesurf club im a moderator of.

Tshirts like this are funny, the slags on tour are just stupid.

Happy to be manager, or at least provide some training. I hate to blow my own trumpet but i have to say i'm damn good at falling off!

Do you think we should start a separate "HSM in Kent - any willing volunteers" thread?

    I'm gonna start looking tonight.

Sounds good. If we do this i'd like to take it semi seriously and put in a little training. I'm mainly in it for a laugh but i'd like to think i'll give it my best shot :)
