Finally got round to putting guards, Brookes saddle and leather bar tape on the Civia.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX

Upgraded saddle and attached some handlebars & brakes.
Damn this bike is ugly, heavy and uncomfortable.

So long as it's better than a Boris bike. Ugly makes it fit for purpose, heavy is bound to happen without expense. Can you do something about uncomfortable?0

I have some (fairly rubbishy) MTB wheels with braking surfaces from an old Townsend in my bike shed. Are these of any use? They'll need a bit of an inspection if you are interested, but might be better than disc brake rims.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)
