Sorry for the poor picture but the Mrs has taken the camera away with her for the weekend.

    For the more sedate commute:

What are these "sedate" commutes you speak of?

Not only are they unhooked it also has disc wheels minus the discs therefore no braking surface, given its weight and chunky gears stopping is going to be optional at best, cant wait for the rain

Upgraded saddle and attached some handlebars & brakes.

Damn this bike is ugly, heavy and uncomfortable.

So long as it's better than a Boris bike. Ugly makes it fit for purpose, heavy is bound to happen without expense. Can you do something about uncomfortable?

    That's massive! I have a 48x15 on my track bike! I suppose I am a youth rider though... :?

Oh yeah, and that's my commuting bike on the left... i'm winning a cross race on it... AT NIGHT!

I have some (fairly rubbishy) MTB wheels with braking surfaces from an old Townsend in my bike shed. Are these of any use? They'll need a bit of an inspection if you are interested, but might be better than disc brake rims.

That might be a tad safer in the rain, thanks

Usually, yes. But what the hell is that saddle bag? It looks big enough to fit a Brompton in. :?

That photo does make it look a little big.... It's not that big in real life.

Okay so I have to agree on that one.

Sketch ditch the saddle bag, it's totally ruins the lines - good job NapD's not on here anymore

    See rule #31

PS. very nice bike, time to get it out in the countryside.
