My gut instinct is it will be an open game, and one side will win convincingly - we'll see I guess.
I think it's a real 50/50 which team that is though.

If you've watched any England match and are expecting an open free flowing match, I don't know what to say.

Time will tell I suppose, and yes I've seen all the England games so far and the France V Netherlands game.

You could well be right. I certainly think there will be goals and something far more exciting than France v Netherlands. I am edging towards a 3-2 scoreline, with a 50/50 call on the winner.

I'd rather be in the final than not regardless of the quality of the opposition . . . there's always a chance and we all know England could, perhaps should, have been a lot better than we have seen thus far.

Assuming we manage to beat Netherlands tonight, just imagine the former, if we manage to do that, you can imagine the latter to really top off your weekend.

Only one team can win. It likely won't be England but it could be (and routinely was in the pre-Southgate era) a lot worse.

I heard the reporter on the BBC this morning say something along the lines of 'England are a match away from the final of the most important tournament in football'. Even the wife said 'I thought the World Cup was the most important tournament'.
