Kane was absolutely shocking. Gave Southgate an excuse to take him off. Toney’s penalty was something else!

I'd argue he was our best player in 2021 Euros. Definitely not the legs yet but he has to start ahead if Trippier in the semis.
I really cannot tell if Kane is injured or his legs are starting to go. I am leaning towards the latter.

I said before the second rd I preferred Holland to be our opposition, as a better, more open side would raise our level. No doubt against well organised but slightly limited teams (as per the first four games) we really struggle to create chances.

I remember saying that before he scored against Germany in the last Euros. You need to think of him as more like Sheringham than Shearer. Never had pace. Is he playing well? Two goals so far, so he's not playing badly.

Fair point. I would never even consider dropping him, it is more about having a formation that allows him to be most effective.

Credit to for Southgate, he has now led us to one final (at least) and 2 semis. I can understand some of the frustrations at times, but he has done something no other Manager has done. Getting to the last 4 in major tournaments is a big ask (as we England fans well know). He has done it in 3 out 4 now, that is exceptional, regardless of what people think of his decision making. For people that say he is lucky, the biggest factor in the turnaround has been the culture change, and that is down to him. You can tell the players respect and want to play for him.
