You're being quite selective there.

Double post.

Never said she was guilty but based on what we know she could be.

Straws and grasping comes to mind. But carry on Stevo as it seems you need something to harangue in your life.😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙂

Those are the two things she's been accused of, no? Which house she spent time in doesn't make any difference to the tax situation so neighbours seeing things are irrelevant. Ditto any council claw back on the sale. You don't know what address she put down for the electoral register at what time either so what exactly have you got? Some dude trying to sell his biography.

From The Times:
"At least a dozen officers at Greater Manchester police are investigating the Labour deputy leader over where she lived in the 2010s and the sale of her former council house in Stockport.
and
"Watson said that the announcement of an investigation was a “neutral act” and it did not imply there was “hard and fast evidence upon which to base anything at this stage”."
At least a dozen officers!!! Make it make sense!

I sometimes wonder if the number of police involved in an investigation is in direct proportion to the amount of noise the Mail, Express & Telegraph make, regardless of the merit of the allegations.
0 -
Well yes as a crime actually being committed doesn't seem to motivate them to do any investigating.
Let's face it, the only way we can actually report crimes is if we hand them the evidence on a plate. "Was there CCTV or a camera?" if it 's no, forget it.

Another one who can't defend his leftie queen so has a pop at me instead. Weak, but then again I expected that from you 😉

And ot continues to get decent coverage in the media as it appears there are now multiple allegations under investigation. Even the Guardian has reported it. All publicity is good publicity as they say 🙂

Back to my earlier question - why do you think she was so shy about putting gthe facts and her advice out there?
"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Seems to be having a devastating effect.

Even if she gets off, it will have been fun making her squirm ☺️

This is exactly why it's a vote loser.
She's actually made it despite all the hurdles British society throws at working class women.
And that's the reason people like you seem to think it's "fun making her squirm".

He's off again https://twitter.com/SkyNews/status/1780567186836246565
I think he should produce the letter that he sent to the police, if he's got nothing to hide.

The enjoyment is nothing to do with class or gender and everything to do with the point that she's a leftie hypocrite.

lol, the only labour MPs who seem to wind you up and you enjoy trying to humiliate was Dianne Abbot and now Angela Rayner.

You forgot Jemima Corbyn. But they dont wind me up, I take the piss out of them. Which seems to wind up lefties 😀

Latest one is that Honest Ange claimed the single person's council tax discount on her house while allowing her brother to live there.
The plot thickens...
"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
With absolutely zero evidence.
In the highly likely event this gets thrown out, I seriously hope Lord Ashcroft, James Daly and the Telegraph are going to get sued in a major way about their conduct.

Except for statements from neighbours saying that he did live there. Got any evidence to suggest that they are lying?

I'm genuinely surprised that they are getting up to 30% in some of the polls.

What's the argument that she was correct in not paying CGT? She got married and lived separately from her husband for a sufficient number of years for it not to be due?
0 -
Good luck with that standing up in court.
How would the neighbours know if she's claiming discount? Would you know if yours were?
0 -
I take it from your reply that you have no evidence to the contrary...
"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Basically yes.
Although If she did live separately from her husband and claimed the single person's council tax discount (as it appears that her brother was also living there) then she committed council tax fraud. Out of the frying pan?
"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Either that her and her husband nominated her property as the main home for CGT purposes (unlikely), or that she spent about £15k on improvements to the property (more likely). The more she spent on improvements, the lower the CGT.

Surely if you are accusing someone of a crime it is down to you to provide evidence? Isn't that how libel law works? So either they have something and can sit pretty or they don't in which case in the highly likely event it gets thrown out by the police she can sue them.
I obviously have no more evidence than you do either way. But that's completely irrelevant here - if you're making allegations in the press unless you can prove them that's libel
0 -
In court, sure. The neighbours statements have been reported in the press, so if she thinks her former neighbours are lying and she has a case to sue them for libel then she can always try. But for the purposes of our debate here I'm putting forward evidence and asking if you have anything to rebut it.
Don't worry, I'm sure that if Honest Ange has her day in court the she will get a fair trial.
