It does seem an oversight from Sony, although I've heard it occurs on other makes too. Shame they don't do many firmware updates for these things.
Sexy tree lingerie...I like it! They'll be fully dressed soon.

Just had a red alert for aurora if anyone has clear skies and fancies giving it a go. Skies are quite clear here but I’ve been out walking the the mountains all day so can’t be arsed going back out.

Cheers for the heads-up. Now can I be arsed?

A bit too cloudy here, although there does seem to be a glow on the horizon.

Dropped back to amber plus a full moon so may not be easy.

I clicked on this thread and it went straight to page 120 for some reason. Coincidentally this picture is taken about 10 minutes from my front door!

Ha, it's a small world indeed.

Quite a few pics of the same view on my Instagram https://www.instagram.com/thomas_bown?igsh=MWw3dThtajhpZDBidQ==

Unfortunately, I haven’t got an Instagram account, but can still view the thumbnails. Yup, recognise most of the haunts. Like the moody atmosphere.👍

Minimistically nice.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Cheers.
The soft sky made it worthwhile, I feel. Not a flat grey, either, which made a change.

Hmm, why do I find lichen so hard to photograph? I feel sure I ought to be able to make the good stuff look like a forest, but I keep on failing... I think partly because (for some reason) the autofocus on my Sony is confused by lichen.
Anyway, a flower photo or three instead, on another bloomin' miserable spring day.

Sunsetsville, though I prefer my rainy photo above on technical and artistic grounds...

Took a load yesterday at St Govan’s Head, Green Bridge Of Wales and Freshwater West. I need to get a strong enough phone signal to link my laptop and upload. The waves were great at Freshwater, I even had to use a fair bit of dehaze due to the amount of water getting whipped into the air.

Yeah, the dehaze slider has got me out of trouble a few times, but it does add a blue tone though.

Got to utilise that new telephoto lens of mine properly for the first time. These are from Freshwater West yesterday, quite pleased to capture a surfer in action, the one in the trough gives a good idea of the wave size.

Green Bridge Of Wales. I only recently found this even existed which is odd when you think how popular Durdle Door is. I suspect it may be due to it only being accessible when the Castlemartin ranges are open. I'm really hoping for a clear night (well, pre-dawn morning) over the next 5 days as I have a shot I really want to try at this location. Forecast isn't particularly hopeful but Sunday or Monday are possibles.

Thanks, I think that’s my favourite too as it caught the conditions as they were. The benefits of shooting a fast shutter speed and in burst mode more than any skill. Would have liked the surfer to be more prominent but it gives a good idea of the wave size.

If you missed the Green Bridge, perhaps Church Doors has escaped your radar. Low tide necessary and slippy rocks.
Not mine.

Just remembered, I think the cliff has collapsed, so the path is closed to the beach, but the steps to Church Doors are open (check) and you can still get to the beach from there. (low tide only)

Not been there but must have gone pretty close when I ran the coast path from Amroth to Manorbier and back a few years ago

Finally cleared up yesterday evening, blue hour was very clear and got Orion behind Carew Castle. Went off to get a few bits from Tesco then came back when it was properly dark but it had clouded up a bit more by then. Managed an 8 shot panorama then a bit of light painting that I've processed to try to look more like a painting.
