However those of us on MBUK who regularly attend 4um Rides or as they have now been termed "Cakefests" have a liking for home malt loaf (a speciality of mine), home made chocolate sponge (a speciality of Ruckus Rider - who is the Forum Master-Baker) and chocolate & chilli cake (a cheekly little number courtsey of SimonB256). I think if we tolerate the " WUT FORK FOR MAH JUMP BIEK?!!??! OMG LOL " question now and again is because we might get one a week or so. It would be rather frustrating if we got 5 a day...

My opinion, for what it's worth, is the following:

All forums should share useful data such as bike reviews/recommendations and faqs, but should remain separated. Each has its customs, culture and type of user. By differentiating its product, Future publications reaches to more users than if it only had one forum. Basic economic theory [;)]

I've registered on at least one of those other forums under a completely different name, given that my personae on here and on the other fora are very different, if the merger is not mad smooth and transparent, there is a grave danger that I may well end up arguing with myself. Thos of you who know my style will have some idea of how long that thread would last.
