Great ride that, Ineos needed that. I think Pidcock has been dropped.

Pog attacks with Jonas glued but gap starting to develop, mops up the remains of the break and gets round 4" on the line. Very Roglic!

Pidcock was tucked into the group just out of sight - followed Pogacar and Vingegaard, albeit at a distance.

Super ride by Kwiatkowski. My boy Van Gils just holds on for second.

Didn't yates do a giro (the one froome did a 'landis') a bit like this - lots of small attacks, got loads of time, then completely faded at the end

3rd out of the GC guys.

Great win for Kwiatkowski, love it!

Very meh from Pog and UAE. Looks like about 8 or 9 seconds gain with the bonus

I think UAE just don't have someone who can do what Kuss does.

Simon Yates did bigger attacks as well

Good ride from Pidcock but I don't think it really kicked off. Will be interesting to see if he can back it up the next two days. All good experience for him though.

He's too small, I keep losing sight of him.

Good day all round for Ineos as their two GC guys should have improved their positions or time gaps.

Works out exactly as if they had ridden hard and finished 1st and 2nd. 4 bonus seconds difference.
Don’t know if it was by design, but it couldn’t have worked out better for UAE.

Incredible how close the Yates twins still are to each other on GC.

Why did Kuss chase down Yates? And why did Pog then chase Kuss?

Orla just failed her Maths GCSE on the breakaway. 54-50=6!

Jumbo shouldn't have wasted all that energy the other day

For all the talk of UAE's tactics, they isolated Vingegaard very early and left him totally reliant on Kuss from a long way out. It didn't matter today, but psychologically, that has to be a blow to Jumbo-Visma.

3 in the top 10 today for Ineos: absolutely bossing the team classification now.

Maybe they thought Jumbo had wasted a lot of energy in the last few days so decided to keep it quite hard (although the break holding them off suggests it wasn't that hard a pace).
