Break is already beaten"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. What we're witnessing here is the world's most high profile mid-life crisis" Afx237vi Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:43 pm0

Agree with the commentators that UAE are doing far more than needed. On the plus side if the break knows it isn’t going to stand a chance it will probably slow meaning UAE can work less hard too.0

Unfortunately it’s looking like a single change in the commentary box today.
So it will be Kirby all the way in about 10 minutes.
Unless they have built a few roundabouts on the Colombier, he’s going to read out the startlist more than once."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

They asked Barguil that this morning, he said a good climber will need 5 minutes at the bottom. Most of this break would probably need double that thoughmididoctors said:How much does la tour or Shaw need at the base of the final climb

‘Not normally a finish that suits Caleb Ewan but he’s still in the bunch and has a fast finish so if he’s still there at the foot of the climb you wouldn’t rule him out’blazing_saddles said:Unfortunately it’s looking like a single change in the commentary box today.

There's no intermediate bonus seconds today, but there is at the top of the Joux Plane tomorrow, the last intermediate bonification.0 -

Latour is losing big time on this non technical descent.
Something tells me he’s not going to enjoy the weekend stages."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

UAE are obviously fed up with Jumbo gtting all the publicity for their 'WTF are they doing?' tactics and giving some of their own.0

If Shaw is on a good day he could do this"If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way. What we're witnessing here is the world's most high profile mid-life crisis" Afx237vi Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:43 pm0

Ah, shame. Ewan wasn't looking particularly happy yesterday - I thought the nature of today's stage gave him a chance to stay in the bunch and pace the climb at the end.
What's the actual speed been today against predictions?0 -

The pattern of this tour so far has been that when JV do all the work Pogacar benefits, and when UAE do it's Vingegaard that takes advantage. Wonder how that'll hold up today?0
