Find it super hard to believe that Lefevere will just take that lying down. Didn't they just extend the contract a few months ago?

Lefevere is 68. He may have one eye on retirement. He has two big assets to sell to get a little retirement bonus: Evenepoel's registration and a World Tour licence.
As pointed out on the Cycling Podcast though, he only owns 20% of the team

The rest is owned by Zdenek Bakala

    I don't believe it.

I'll believe it when I see it; however there is also the matter, 'rumours' of Specialized having Remco on their books? The big S to Ineos - seems unlikely...but who knows?

Here's a theory - based on nothing but my imagination. Ineos merge with QS, which leaves a spare World Tour licence. This could be bought by up and coming Q36.5 along with some QS riders. That team is owned by the owner of Pinarello. So they become Team Pinarello and Specialized go to Ineos.

Somebody has mentioned something similar elsewhere, might have been Twitter. Q36.5 is currently on Scott-Sram....and Nibali is on their books as an advisor.

I know you are only wildly speculating, but I suspect UNO X would be the ones to buy a WT licence. Though how does buying the licence affect the relegation/promotion points? If you buy the licence off SQS do you also get their points?

This sounds extremely feasible to me.

Who owns AG Soudal QS? And would they be included - and allow Ineos to finally have a women's road team.

That would make good sense. The lead DS there is Servais Knaven. His wife is the general manager.

Either this confirms Remco is staying or Landa is to be their new GC leader :D

There is either something seriously wrong at Ineos or they've signed Remco...

How many are left? And how many have they signed/ rumoured to have signed?
The current Pinarello contract finishes in 2024...
Maybe they get the big S & Remco for 2025 onwards???

No hints from Luke and G on the podcast. But they did have 'The Little Bast4rd' chatting on a recent episode. 🤔
