Luke Plapp across to Jayco, 4 year deal.

Still had a year left on Ineos contract, but mutually terminated.

    Renshaw to Astana.

We're 234 days to Florence. We've got a full pot of chamois cream, half a pack of gels, it's dark and we're wearing Oakleys. Hit it!

Fun video, but putting the years of his contract at the end does look a little bit like an obituary.

He's a perfect fit. Strong, versatile, durable and a little bit racist.

Lasse Norman Hansen Leth (Uno-X) and Frederik Rodenberg (DSM) both drop down to elite amateur Danish team CO:PLAY- Giant to focus on the Olympics (Madison and team pursuit respectively). The team is run by Rasmus Quaade, who you may remember as being the guy with the curled waxed moustache on the DK team pursuit ten years ago.

Blast from the past is that name 😮

I remember Lasse Norman Hansen at Lotto as a potential GC guy

Although I remember Thomas Lovkvist signing for Sky as a GC guy tbf

I have a good memory for cycling facts

To be fair, it was only 2 years ago he got an Olympic gold in the madison (with Mørkøv) and a silver in the the team pursuit. He's a medal short of being the most decorated Olympian in Denmark's history

Going back to the days of paint job disguised bikes?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Finally, this was the on, off transfer - I thought they had filled all positions clearly not.

That's going to be odd not seeing any brown shorts in the peloton anymore :D
Van Rysel make some top end bikes, I can't see the main sponsor allowing them to use another brand and merely paint them to look like Van Rysel bikes.
I would have thought this will be a big push to try and capture sales at the high end of the market.

The top end bikes seem to sell quite well in France where there isn't so much bike snobbery.

But I see locals doing grand fondos on aluminium wheels, rim brakes and mechanical groupsets so maybe not so much need for the top end stuff for mamils.

Funny how just when all the super trendy expensive brands are selling brown shorts AG2R ditches them.

    Too cool for school.

"Decathlon also boasted that it wants to become "one of the top five global cycling brands" during its five-year partnership with AG2R"

    Deffo no rebadged/painted bikes here.

    Twingo saddle bag optional:

Floating, very lightweight presumably, helmets too.

I like the AG2R stuff coming out of Decathlon. Looks great and prices are less unreasonable than a lot of places.
