    Askey must be squinting through his hindsight goggles questioning whether a solo bid was the way (although with a team mate in the break, the dynamic could have been completely different if he'd stayed).

    They will already be out the back by then as the preceding first cat is very irregular and also has several kms averaging over 10%

    Apparently WvA was a couple of minutes quicker than Matej on moving time, but lost due to being held up for 10 mins by a crash.

    If I'm reading it right, the toughest part is with about 6km to go.

    You can tell it's tough when it eases up to only 9% for a couple of km.
